Ah, Stalin, you are so wrong. Much more has changed about the economy. You will notice that many of the techs have had what they do changed. For instance, mass production and one other technology are so useful it almost makes me want to cry. 20% off for artillery for Mass Production (I think.) Twenty. Percent. Off.

i know u are a pro, but u got the time on ur side. ottomans are a rebel country. they ALWAYS rebel and get kicked ass. if u hold sweden, u will dont have a problem. they will take denmark, and then stay there and wait for u. poland loses to. its only prussia u need to fight against if u dont take them out quick.

at least it did on my russian campaign.

do you mean raids?

in empire, buildings are spread around the province instead of in one city. There are things like mines, chirches, schools, and other economic buildings. If an enemy attacks the building they raid it, making it damaged so you have to repair it. It can be useful for cutting income.

It gets really annoying when playing as prussia, because you practicly have to rebuild your provinces every turn in the early game.

I'm not a great commander either but I'm pretty good at the management aspects of the game as well. Though I tend to go overboard with coaching inns and end up with more rakes than I know what to do with.

Why would that ever be a bad thing? With Imperial Splendour, all the factions are unique, whereas in vanilla Empire they are just copy-pasted factions with some unique units and slightly differing stats.

I don't like mods whats adds a lot of stuff into a game and then effentually disbalances it. Well except I like mods which completly changes the game, like LoTR mod for RTW or M2TW.

The mod DOES completely change the game setup. Not the map, but the factions, the combat mechanics, the technologies, etc.

Also, YES THERE IS A NEED. Basically EVERY faction followed one of three presets in Empire: Total War vanilla. Eastern, Western, or Native. THERE WAS NO VARIETY. Now almost every faction is unique in its own right.

Really, Russia needs more than just Cossacks and grenadiers. They need Pavlov Grenadiers and Moscow Musketeers, and Prussia needs the Freikorps and all those little outstanding or elite regiments.

Yeah without a strong leader to organize and modernize the Ottoman empire it is basicly fucked in the game. Th only reason not go to war with the ottomans is the vastness of land that yoy need to conquer to defeat them.
