  • Thanks.........but want to remind that fr 11th century onwards baisakhi celebrated by all punjabi whether hindu or muslim on harvest of wheat......later on .....on day of baisakhi guru laid foundation of khalsa sena to save religion.....so its not only related to sikhs but linked to all punjabi's.......all punjabi hindu became part of khalsa army to save their land & hindu religion.........so be careful.....if don't know read history first..........then comment...ok........

  • @neha666699 What a load of rubbish you write, all punjabi hindus joined the Khalsa army? No they did not. Sikhs established themselves as a distinct and separate force whilst most punjabi hindus especially brahmins collaborated with the foreign muslim rulers. You are right that Baisakhi predates Sikhism but it holds special significance for Sikhs much like the language Panjabi holds a special place in Sikh hearts even though people of other faiths speak it.
