@uglybug11 well the quarted did a version of How Can I Keep From Singing. The same version was done by a Wartburg College Choir. But full choir did a ton of gospel songs and then this one.
Hehe. I'm a Latin student, and I was learning to translate whole pieces like songs and paragraphs. One of the examples they used was this song, so I found it here. But I found a 'problem' or two... First of all, there's a place or two where a letter is silent, which never happens in Latin. Also, the refrain is pronounced: A, E, A, E, O. I put problems in quotes since Latin is a dead language, and there's several different ways to speak it. Amazing singing though. Any other Latin 'translations'?
Yeah... I know most choirs pronounce it A,E,A,E,O... I have no idea why we didn't. lol. We don't have any other latin translations of fun songs like this though. If we ever do another one, I'll definitely post it. And thank you for the compliment. :) Our choir worked super hard to achieve the sound that we had.
I'm actually just doing Latin in school for this one year as a foreign language. I always wondered though. I'm going to be an engineer, so wouldn't learning BINARY work better in a technical job than learning a dead language? Unfortunately, not everyone agreed that binary should count as a foreign language... Oh well. Keep up the singing, though.
Ahaha well I would think binary should totally count as a foriegn language. It sure confuses me. lol. But yeah, thanks. And good luck with the engineering.
This video saved my ass, I'm a soprano who has a test on this piece and needs to have it down, thank god!!!! There might actually be a God~
