Asus can you stop using shit capacitors on your boards and take after Gigabyte with good caps. The solids you put on them are good, but the electrolytics are pitiful. No Chemi-Con KZG. THey suck.
Not a comment on this video but rather a comment on the level of service Asus provide in Australia. If you want service don't bother trying. Their 1300 number is always busy, doesn't give you an option to leave a message & just hangs up on you after a message about "unusually high call volumes".
Clever,a system where the Ram is secondary and just used for app memory thus allowing ram failure to be out of the picture for boot up and standard boot.... very clever...
I Want to buy an ideal new pc &i cant even find one! Heres what i wish was! - I wish Asus and all other mobo makers sold at least 12 full featured and totally bios tweakable *socket 437 full atx motherboards with energy efficient chipsets branded as multimedia htpc boards then i wish intel had at least 20 z series atom cpus aimed at that low power multemedia desktop marketto mkw ir posible and easy to chose atom cpus and m.boards like we could back in the day with efficient pentium 3 desktops
socket 775 and AM2/3 cpus with a TDP over 35 watts should be classified as power workstation cpu's and aimed at the power worksation or gaming workstation dekstops only. since it totally unecessasy in multemedia internet pc.
power efficient Atom cpus should be classified as mainstream multedmedia desktop cpus and sold as such.
full featured socket 437 multimedia motherboards could come with the nvidia ion platform as standard, so any low power atom desktop will run vista with absolute ease.
Besides a good 25 watt TDP 64 bit graphics card will render more desktop graphics power than any cpu could in almost any circumstance. so theres no need for much cpu /chipset power in a multmedia pc, Especially with the new 40nm graphics cpu shrink, which should reduce power consumption also...
people should be alble to choose between a power workstation desktop and media desktop
with a couple free pci slots for a tv card and such.
Great Mobo from Great Company , i really love you asus
IF We Could Combine the Micro-Porous Ceramic Technology with Asus RoG concept and exactly with the Extreme Edition of RoG , i think we will get an awesome monister Mobo with Holly .....OC. WOW
Awesome, I'd have that in a heartbeat, but drop the lipo battery, or at least make it an offboard unit or an option. lipo batteries aren't really what I'd want around my shiny new mobo. All it takes is one overcharge and boom. Besides, is there really any need, is that little cell going to support all relevant hardware to keep the system running?
Ummm ok. That doesn't make S775 a good socket. They aren't making new CPU's for it. It's old. Phenom II and Core i7 are the newest enthusiast overclocking CPU's.
Core i7's, although they offer a big performance increase, aren't great on the bank per buck ratio at the moment, so some people aren't really ready to take on the new. depending on certain users preference, thats all they need. which is a cooler mobo that has better ocing properties than the previous predecessors. you can take the old processors still to new levels thats why they made this mobo!
