@vincentwiliamphilips ok. ill try that. also in part 2 some of the images in the hex have higher numbers than what the base jpg and the base doesnt end in the same spot that u mentioned. it stops later and doesnt iven have the number u mentioned.... not sure what to do.

@yaoifan696 no unfortiontly not and its a truly hard edit just do the following my universal themes have those kind of edited vshmain.prx files ^^ just download my theme and extract the needed vshmain.prx ;)

hey vincent i have a quick question when i edit some of my images size to 400x227 they dont come out to that size like i put 400 and when im about to put 227 the 400 changes should i find another image that would come out to 400x227? thanks for ur time and for all the videos =]

so i opened hex workshop and the numbers line up differently about 16 zeros per row and it doesnt work when i end it at 00007FE0 i have to put to many 00 to get to it

@JarrefPikar yeah I some times have the same problem just reedit it with adobephotoshop to come closer to the point you need so you only have to edit les 00 if you cant get coser then save your images as png then reedit it to jpeg and see if it is closer just try some stuf

This tutorial is good, it helped get one my fav backgrounds with the wave, but I have a problem, even though I was able to do it. Im not able to access anything in the systems tab. Do I need to edit the vshmain or add more backgrounds? Im modifying a ctf theme btw.

@teranerayharp uhm what do you mean with systems tab? I always extract a ctf then put it on my flash0 thne edit it until I am done then remake it to ctf there's a pther way but I like to do it this way :D

Oh sorry, by systems tab, I meant the options where you would go to change the theme colors and the theme itself, the system settings is what im trying to say basically, where the usb option and the date and time settings are. When I reconvert the bmp files into the ctf theme, it will show my background with the wave, but when i try to change it, I'm unable to, the psp wont read my memory stick only when i try to access settings on it.

colors arent on the ms so it cant be that the color effects the ms

photoshop won't let me change the image size to 480 x 227,..it changes automatically to 480x 205 :(

lol there is a setting that makes sure you dont mes the image size when setting the size at the left there is a box untick it then try again :)

That's what i did after i installed the 100% Universal Blue darkness flash0 theme i went to theme color and it only had the default colors and the one i said before with the mountain and ocean

yeah there is no limit in how many it cood read there is only 1 problem the resources of the psp

there are 30 backgrounds the psp can only show 15 at a time thats why white black pictures there are full but they cant be seen until you go to color again like the video shows

you must find 30 pictures you want as

30 backgrounds yourself and convert them as the video shows , so you wil have your own 30 backgrounds
