  • @MrButterworth24 I recommend leaving the door half open only to avoid tripping over it. You can leave the oven door all the way open and just be careful ;)

  • Made this and i don't know if anyone else had the same problem but it was much to thick so i added two more eggs to make it more spreadable, cooked it, chilled it and just finished my first piece and it’s extremely good :) So if anyone is having problems, just add extra eggs and it will be fine :) Thank you onepotchef !

  • I've made it and it's alot of yumm!

    I had to use substitute ingredients, since we dont have cream cheese nor sour cream here. Googled for the substitutes and it worked :D I believe I have to use a little less of the sour cream substitute, appears to be more sour than yours but it was still great to me ;3

  • Can't bake to save my life but tried this today. Gas oven and had it on top shelf and burnt the biscuit edge.. bugger it.. Used white choc filling instead of dark choc.. it's in the fridge now chilling out... Man I can't wait!!!   • That looks so good. I would make a raspberry syrup to go over the top of it and shave some white chocolate on the top as well. I've never had much luck making cheesecakes though. They never quite turn out the way I want them to.

  • @eliR101 This recipe has eggs, so they need to cook! Maybe if you don't use the eggs and use a little lemon juice to set it, it will be ok,  I'm not sure though!

  • @08jinnodelosreyes If you want to make a fruity cheesecake, you're better off using my "Lemon Cheesecake" recipe and adding pulped fruit of your choice to the cream cheese mixture (after adding the lemon juice)

  • Hey OnePotChef, I hate it when YouTube chefs call their recipes "food porn" because it just irritates me when the food doesn't measure up. (I've unsubscribed a few YouTube Chefs for overuse of unmerited food porn descriptors.) That being said, your chocolate cheesecake is absolutely food porn.

  • @DiStergio No - the resting time in the oven stops the cheesecake from cracking. I don't recommend skipping this step. Freezing is also a bad idea. This recipe requires a bit of patience, but it's worth the wait ;)

  • Do you put anything like milk, when you melt the chocolate? I alway do when i melt chocolate.

  • @sSoloW I recommend allowing the cream cheese come to room temperature so it's nice and soft. It makes it easier to mix together :)

  • @coolworldalways I use a program called MPEG Streamclip to convert and upscale the raw footage, then I edit it using iMovie 11 :)
