The burning route is one of the easiest in the game. Just go straight and then turn to the Wildcats Baseball Stadium.

And Burnout Paradise lags very much on my computer:

On my setup I max the game yes, minus SSAO (Look it up on wikipedia, cant be bothered to explain what it is :P). On your system, it should do fairly well. I believe it comes under the 'recommended settings' anyway.

My version is running on a custom-built PC. 3.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM and an nVidia GTX260 graphics card.

Runs a pretty solid 60fps (which it is locked down to anyways it seems) when im not recording something. Thats at 1680 x 1050 resolution. :)
