this is so cool but it still wanna know what actually moves the keys. guess i will have to scrap a piano to find out lol.
there are solenoids under the keys, basically it's like a piston, an electrical impulse forces a magnetized slug up and hits the underside of each key, so one part of the key is forced up, and the other part of key is forced down...

Sounds like a snare drum or some kind of drum. those instruments are played through a Roland Sound Canvas
