:) The story of when Carreras made his comeback in Barcelona after being in the hospital for so long due to leukemia was moving. I thought Domingo was going to cry! :')
Placido Domingo is the only one in this who's speaking Spanish. That's cool! :) Does he understand Catalan, even though he doesn't speak it? I bet he understands a few words, since it's so similar to Spanish.
And thank God Jose survived leukemia. He is alive and well. What a warrior. I admire him for that. Montserrat Caballe was obviously touched. Listen to her voice breaking. Domingo's voice was near that point, too. Very, very moving.
I have access to the English translation to this, it's too long to post here but if you're interested, let me know and I'll send the translation to you. It's very interesting!
Placido Domingo and Monserrat Cabelle are very sweet and so happy about Jose's recovery from leukemia. Cabelle practically breaks down crying. I especially like the part where Placido Domingo invites Jose out on stage at the Liceu, this is shortly after he gets out of the hospital. This is especially touching.

This is wonderful. I wish I knew Spanish so I could here what Caballe is saying about Carreras, as well as Domingo.
