@nemo220901 Those are show tanks. They put them in there to take pics of them flaring at the other fish. Anyway, they sell the fish in a short amount of time. They're not in those tanks for long.

@18oopatroopa you can use at least a 10 gallon with seperators there 13.00 at petco my blue veiltail predator , my giant half king godzilla , my vieltail albino albeeno, and my baby double tail rage share cages and they come with seperators for only 9.00 at petco you can keep 2 fish in one dual betta bowl and you can buy gorgeous healthy betas starting at only 2.64 to 30.98 illl post a video sometime

@MyFishCare101 i'm guessing they grow back my girl got a huge hole ripped through her tail and within 5 days it was all healed and this was without treatment she's one lucky girl i thought her eyes were going to be torn out by my aggressive fish o_O

@themousemaster man my stupid betta was kinda mangled do to petco,or so I thought lol, I got him all helthy over 2 maby 3 months and he looked all show betta nice tail bright colors, and then he riped off his own tail! so I do the whole bettafix thing, nurse him up and then about 2 months after he riped out his tail and I get it to grow back he rips it out again!?!? but he is a super agressive betta so I think when his tail gets too long he attacks it thinking its a nother betta

@whiteboypatrickkelly Some of the bettas with the really big, heavy tails have been known to bite their own tails unfortunately.

@whiteboypatrickkelly Or it could be too heavy. Don't use betta fix it actually hurts them. Try betta revive or aquarium salt instead. Aquarium salt closes the youngs. He might be ripping his tail off because of stress or because he can't stand the weight. A few of my friends have betta's who can't stand their tails to be a certian length.

@MyFishCare101 Usually a Betta that has torn, ragged tails when they were once beautiful are usually a result of too much flaring, mating, natural occurrence, etc. This is referred to as "Blown Tails". The bigger the tail, the more susceptible it is to this. Also the male fins tend to grow as they age.

@qick07 You have to get yellow bettas to get yellow bettas. Find a pure yellow male betta and a pure yellow female betta. Even though they might carry a gene of another color, but there's still chances to get pure yellow fry.

@qick07 No problem. I have 3 halfmoon bettas. One purple/pink body with red and shiny green tail. One light yellow. One with dark red body, red tail with black outlining. They're all nice and I'm not intending to mate them because I want to wait until they're a bit older so they won't get beat up by the female. Some females are more aggressive than the male.

@jordanpwend It means you need to separate them. Bettas shouldn't be housed together unless they are spawning. Always condition the pair before spawning.
