anyone knows if the transition is hard from skateboarding to snowboarding ? i've been skating for about 4 years and have a good base of normal and switch tricks.. i'm going on snowboard vacation in 2 weeks :D so yea .. just wondering if it will be hard or chill :) i mean the stuff this guys do look so friking sick.. haha

@fnfgreg I'm pretty sure that you're gonna have it a lot easier than most people with a background in skateboarding and you can probably use a lot of your knowledge and apply it on snowboard..

I tried it last week for the first time and somewhat got the hang of it in a couple of hours.. that being said, I did hurt my ass a couple of times ;-)

@fnfgreg depends really, it wont be instant but if your good enough at skating and you have some balls then you will be fine :) its better to come across your own technique when your out there rather than someone tell you what to do anyway. jst try not to move your shoulders move to much when you try to turn and focus on balance.

@fnfgreg skating is wayyyy more tech than snowboarding. the transition between the two is smooth. once u figure out how your "edge" works, and the feeling of having a board strapped on ur feet... ur golden! Its seriously one of the best feelings ever. have fun bro
