The prophecies of Isaiah, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the 500+ historical accounts of people seeing Jesus walking around after his resurrection, the existential evidence of Jesus Christ, and moral law are all excellent proofs of Christianity. If you mean to ask why the proof is not so strong that even the gutless would have faith, the answer is simple: Such "faith" would no longer be credible as faith.
