Do you all have experience with staggered stud framing? I like it because there is almost no thermal bridging and a continuos foam insulation barrier the entire wall assembly. It also creates a 2x6 cavity that can be maximized for insulation if you choose.
I thought 2 x 6 'trees' were larger, older than 2 x 4 'trees' - if not, there was much more waste from a log.
