Hardly. Arcade physics don't make for a good game. I've been giving the demo a try in "king" mode (no help from the computer), and it is far, far too easy to control the car at 200mph. Totally unrealistic. You guys should try GTR or rFactor if you want to have some idea of a fast driving sim that has some element of realism. It's really too bad for the NFS franchise. Porsche Unleashed had amazing physics for its day. What happened?

true, the handling isnt all that real, but a lot of people just play it because of the fact that you can customize the cars and turn them into their own design. if they could combine both elements, they would have the perfect NFS game

It's more focused on being a good driver, they really focused on tuneing and makeing the driveing more realistic. Makeing it less arcade like the other games were, it's still arcade but it's alot more realistic and more advanced.
