it depends on how close to death....normally i just go for it and corss up for far away....@ about sweeping range if u hold forward while slamming u can cross up from sweep range...no focuse just block OR backdash....but if timed right neither will matter because they'll get hit after backdash or ull just have to mix it up w/ a grab instead of a slam...or normally when they start to panic they just back so...run-stop-ultra works every time

Balrog and blanka take the most skill to use. They have to overcome the rapid spamming of fireballs then close the distance in a way so they can land an attack before they get attacked. To find a GOOD balrog or blanka character now is rare.

dhalsims = do not like Balrog. You EX rush near them through their fireball to get near them, if they used the LK fireball, it's a hit, and you're near them for a position in which they are disadvantaged.
Fireball characters -> EX rush through them, they get hurt. Easy as. Or headbutt through them, making them come to you.
Balrog is fairly easy to use, good damage, can go through fballs, and good anti airs/mixups.
Now try Honda. His Headbutt DOESN'T go through, and no ultra links. GL. L2PSF?
Dhalsim against balrog goes a lil something like this.
Dhalsim teleports back, low fireballs and mk kicks and low strecth punch to keep balrog back (since his charges dont attack til he's in range of the body not the limbs). While all this is happening ur life is slowly dropping, and if you do get too close 8 times out of 10 they will teleport away. Dhalsim is just a underrated character because he isnt a rush character.

this el fuertes is a much better play than c.viper, you can tell hes wayy out of pratice or somethings wrong. missing the backdash tostita twirl or whatever? or tostada presses? come on
It was never an infinite in the first place, it's a loop, and no, it's no fixed at all. It's still possible in Arcade or Console versions. The reason lots of players only do two or three loops and then slide or something is because of how prohibitively difficult it becomes after a few loops.
Well not only is it hard to pull off in match situations, but really after the 3rd or 4th hit, each next hit does SO little damage that its not even worth it.
I unlocked him a few hours ago. I'd be practicing with him, but every time I select him he rambles for a bit about hope and then the game crashes. Rough times may be ahead.

EL Fuerte bis like king of fighters 2002 character ramon. they do similar things like set moves that maes him dance around with a finisher mix up that cna lead to hits grabs or low hits.

SFIV is remarkably balanced for a fighting game, besides that fact that tier lists should always be taken with a grain of salt. Can Vega beat Sagat? Absolutely, the difference isn't that huge. this el fuertes is a much better play than c.viper, you can tell hes wayy out of pratice or somethings wrong. missing the backdash tostita twirl or whatever? or tostada presses? come on

They fixed the infinite after beta. Now you can block after the 4th hit.

It was never an infinite in the first place, it's a loop, and no, it's no fixed at all. It's still possible in Arcade or Console versions. The reason lots of players only do two or three loops and then slide or something is because of how prohibitively difficult it becomes after a few loops.

Well not only is it hard to pull off in match situations, but really after the 3rd or 4th hit, each next hit does SO little damage that its not even worth it.

I unlocked him a few hours ago. I'd be practicing with him, but every time I select him he rambles for a bit about hope and then the game crashes. Rough times may be ahead.

EL Fuerte bis like king of fighters 2002 character ramon. they do similar things like set moves that maes him dance around with a finisher mix up that cna lead to hits grabs or low hits.

yes i agree with you because every time i play as Vega I kill everything in site including Akuma even though he is not my favorite character he is ranked dead last in tier due to the fact he dizzy's so quickly and his attacks dont land alot of damage but everyone they have at the bottom of the teir list rapes while Sagat who is always at the top is garbage!!!

SFIV is remarkably balanced for a fighting game, besides that fact that tier lists should always be taken with a grain of salt. Can Vega beat Sagat? Absolutely, the difference isn't that huge. You'll notice the tier list goes: Sagat in his own tier, most of the cast, and then a couple down in the shit tier. Shit tier can still beat Sagat, denying the fact makes you a bloody idiot.
