this sounds like a stupid question but how do you feint/dodge or feint/attack i just started polayin tifa and i am sooo confused. HELP PLZ!!!!

@mcdubbsz Maybe you're having the same problem as me back then. It's possible that your timing is off and you need to observe and realize when the actual "attack frame" ends, THEN you press the x button.

this is one of the tutorial ever, it shows you when to feint and what to do afterwards, seeing their reactions and such, a complete with assist, brv and hp attack. two thumbs up broo ! favlikesubs

Dude this is amazing. I've yet to see such a comprehensive video guide on here, 10/10.

On a side note I'm thinking my Tifa should have attack boosting equipment, but I'm not sure about her HP. Should I try to boost it higher, or make almost all my accessories assist boosters (I like my Tifa like yours; good assist)?

i really have to admit this was an amazing video. extremely helpful. its cool to see how youre using her hp moves because i do feel like some of them are fairly hard to land. would you happen to have any specific tips or hints for larger maps like order's sanctuary?

@RFS671 Thanks! I'm not a HP attack person so I tend to save them until they're sure to land, altough I have to experiment with her HP feint possibilities =). So far Somersault Kick feels like the best option for punishments.

About lage maps, Tifa does equally fine in those. Use Blizzaga for pressure and try to link it with... Meteor kick? (not sure if that was the name) to chain into assists. Try to keep the fight near the ground and close to walls to make use of her great wall rushing.

Hmm, this is good.

Your video proves that Tifa isn't as execution heavy as I thought she would be.

Just goes to show you still have time to bait and watch, then act after feinting.

I need to try that out, it should help me in a 9/9 fight.

One question though,

Do you know what's the strongest equipment for Tifa ? I can't find it cause it's in Japanese and my equipments are below average x_x.

And how do you play dissidia online ? Is it through the computer or PS3 ?

@MiDiLeiROCKS I'll try to do that! Unfortunately, I can't use Ad Hoc now (my former computer died) and none of my friends is particularly skilled with Jecht, but I can get them to train I guess =P.

won't work against more aggressive opponents. even a medium difficulty Jecht will just attack tifa's feint everytime. but nice guide though!! :)

@MiDiLeiROCKS Well, that's a desirable outcome! =)

Usually, when you are feinting, your attack comes out very fast if you press circle. So watch your opponent closely and if he/she starts and attack him/herself, release yours and hit with a Counterattack critical.

@MiDiLeiROCKS By the way, I watched your video and no offense, but I think you just were playing the feints wrong =). It's okay, with a little improved spacing Jecht will not be able to stop them.

For the record, this Squall is 9/9 AI and it's definitely possible to use feints effectively on him, like you can see in the video (and many others I can upload if requested)
