This might be the greatest composition of film for a band i've ever seen , this honestly needs to retouched and put on dvd , wonderful editing and as a life long fan of the allman brothers I can say whole heartedly this moved me , and not much can do that for me .
Wow! Gave me Goosebumps too. Fantastic job of editing. This sound is so deeply ingrained into my soul. I was fourteen/fifteen years old back in 1970-71 and went to probably six or eight ABB concerts, any time that they came to town. It was a magical time back then, and this band just tapped into something that seemed to capture the essence of the vibe of that whole era. Duane died the day after my sixteenth birthday and so did a part of me. Very cool and nostalgic to see/hear this video!
Never got to see Duane live but he's the reason I ended up being a musician for the last 35 years though I've recently taken a break and have ended up in Norway of all places! Duane was the greatest, bar NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:0)
I saw the AB's warm up for Love and the Dead headlining in Feb of 1970 at the old Fillmore that they knew and loved. This clip made me cry...thanks, JOHN
man.. what is the name of this song 0:58... thanks..
