@brandishoogy WOW, Brandi, thanks for that, I've been up in the clouds after reading your comments. You'd be welcome to come & stay for a while, for sure. I also wish I had a Bunya tree. I'm looking forward to tracking down some more nuts next month. It's a shame not many people know what to do with them. I got a few more recipes up my sleeve.I'll do that fishing video soon. I look forward to talking to you again, take care. cheers for now.
@TartanLassie5 Thanks Denise, we did. It's a really nice chutney for you to try some time, you can just add the slivered almonds or just make the apple & ginger on it's own if you ever see apples at a bargain price.
@stepheninva Thanks Stephen, it goes with anything really. You can play around with the ingredients a bit, just try different fruits. The recipe I found on line, is fairly basic but very effective & versatile was for 7 cups in total of chopped pawpaw & mango. Also 2 tbs, of ginger. Basically what I did different is use 7 cups of apple & more ginger as well as the nuts. Good luck with that Stephen, take care. cheers.
@lovethosedocs Hello, thanks for that. Yes, as a relish. When I've got it I just add it to any meal. This lot wont last long. It goes well with any meat. I think, as you suggested, use it like a relish. You can use your imagination & use other fruit instead of apple or a combination of apple & other fruit. I found this simple recipe online. The fruit was pawpaw & mango & a lot less ginger. You can just play around with the ingredients to suit yourself. anyway thanks again. cheers.
