The camera cannot focus it. I think it's a star or a planet out of focus. Movement of 15 degrees per hour is just the speed of rotation of the Earth and visibly entire sky rotates at that speed, just in evenings in sities the smaller stars cannot be seen.

The Hudson Valley area is a know ufo vortex. It is considered a "hot spot" for ufo related activity. So it dosn't surprise me that your veiwing something over the Hudson River from Manhatten. Check out my clips; I recorded a sighting too on January 22, 2009 at 6:15pm in Arlington, VA. There were no highrises around me like in your case, so nothing was blocking my reception. The same night, there are recordings in Southern Ohio, Miami, Mississippi, and a couple of nights earlier in the UK.
I guess something was cruzing above Easten USA on January 22, 2009.

The Hudson Valley area is a know ufo vortex. It is considered a "hot spot" for ufo related activity. So it dosn't surprise me that your veiwing something over the Hudson River from Manhatten. What is it? It is unidentified, it is suspended in air and it looks like a light. I'll call it a U.S.L If you see it again let me know.

I see this usually between December and May, it moves across the sky on a 45 degree angle both clockwise and anti-clockwise. If it is a planet then why does it move so erratically? It is not a star as they do not move in that way if at all. Close up it is brightly coloured at night and flashes and spins very quickly, in daylight it still spins but does not flsh and is blue silver in colour. No crank responses please - You Tube is full of them. What the hell is this?

The object was very high in the sky. To the naked eye, the disk looked like a dime in the sky which is why we thought it was a planet at first. The footage was shot with the telephoto lens fully extended. Don't be confused by the proximity of the building in the foreground.
