Good old time hockey. It needs to come back. Hockey's gettin to soft now and days. I understand how they want to get rid of shots to the head that makes sense. But little scuffles after the play will work themselves out we dont need every ref on the ice breakin up the players, they're just talking. And if the talking just so happens to lead to the fighting then so be it. Fighting is a part of hockey, deal with it.

@darrenhol I agree with you to come extent.. I think there's a difference between goon play and sticking up for your players. What Trevor Gillies does when he's on the ice is more than likely goon play. But sticking up for your players, like Bradley did for Ovi against Tampa Bay, isn't really goon play.

Wow, I had a tape of this but it got ruined. Im still in amazement on how hard these hits are, trust me they're hard, I play high school hockey and I'm only 5'6", 108 lbs. I've taken my fair share of hits in AAA hockey too.
