Eggman was his original name.

Ivo Robotnik was made his real canon name in Sonic Adventure 1 when SEGA of Japan decided to stop the separate continuities.

This is a pain if you do not already have this stuff but you could download it from keepvid play it in a VLC player FRAPs it while it is playing put the FRAPS in Windows movie maker and use AoA audio on the video and there would be your MP3

@darkfire158 actually, His original name is Eggman, but when they brought Sonic to America they changed his name to Robotnik. and then with the release of t he first Sonic Adventure game they changed it back to Eggman, using it at first a derogitory term that Sonic used for him, but then ultimately became his original name again. woot for being a Sonic Fanboy XD

@InwardChaos93 WRONG!! Eggman was originally one of many nicknames Sonic used on Robotnik as punes/jokes, only it got so wide spread that by SA 2 Robotnik just went "fuck it" and started calling himself DR. Eggman to take the bite out of Sonic's bark; officially it is still Ivo Robotnik.

Besides, Eggman was what the japanese first called Robotnik anyway (Robotnik was only used in the U.S.A.). guess they wanted to impress that name back officially.
