  • do you still need it?

  • Windows 95 supports Wi-Fi? Or you have to use wired internet??

  • @WenaxBkn310 - I was using wired ethernet but apparently the Orinoco Gold PCMCIA wifi card works with Win95.

  • I just picked up a 760ED complete with almost everything it originally came with for real cheap, seems to be very similar to this model.

  • The quick fox jumped over the lazy dogs? That makes hell of a lot sense

  • @marcvie9 - Google it.

  • Ahh that boot sound... Sweet memories .......

  • @MalismDK It's like peacefulness and then when it stops and its like GET TO WORK!!!

  • cool video

  • What's that squeak at 3:45?

  • @WindowsLover6767 - That's the internal CD-ROM drive seeking.

  • which sound drivers and graphic driver you use?

  • @vinayakmehra91 - MWave Win95 audio/DSP drivers, not sure about the video drivers, maybe they were included with Win95.

  • @SiliconClassics Thanks

  • Eu tive um desse.

  • Omg the log on sound... Nostalgia much?

  • I,m on my 16 th year of Dial Up & I can still surf with Windows 95 too , it's a lil tricky & slow , but yes it can be done :) QC

  • Do you now the Excel 95 trick? It´s very funny!

  • @quinillo94 - The 3D easter egg? Yes, I've seen it, and the "flight simulator" in Excel 97.

  • I remember windows 98 on my 760c, until it died cause my dad got anger issues and i asked him to help me fix it and he grabbed it out of my hands and dropped it from the balcony upstairs about 20-30 feet from there and it landed... never got it to work again.

  • @killmath11 go and download it at torrent! then burn it to cdr

  • Does it have Internet access

  • @mrdeersniper - Yes, as shown later in the video it runs IE5 and connects to various web sites. It even has internet access under Windows 3.1 - you can see that in action in the video response.

  • good video

  • New videos, please!

  • What Win95 version is that?

  • @Jivemaster2005 - I think it's the first edition, not OSR-2. I have since replaced it with OS/2 Warp 3, so I can't check to verify.

  • Is it has it's battery dead?

  • The battery holds a charge for about a half-hour. I had the laptop plugged in for this video.

  • Pretty good for a year 1994. Sorry for my bad english, I m lithuanian. :)

  • @tasvirukas - I forgot to mention that it's a replacement battery. I got it about six years ago. The original battery died a long time ago, as you probably suspected.

  • Oh, I didn't suspected that. Silly me. But now it makes perfect sense how 16 year old laptop can still hold a charge. :)

  • Awesome! I have a NEC Laptop from the same effort I'm trying to restore.

  • 1:57 what song is that

  • It's a midi tune called "Striving" - you can find the file via a Google search.

  • Whats the refresh rate on that?

  • 60Hz, but it probably looks lower because the video board is slow. It's a Western Digital WD90C24A2, which was pretty standard in 1994-era notebooks.
