  • Im a kid & i borrowed it off my neighbour, i pulled the bottom of it and its a bit displaced, but it still works. Can i fix it?

  • Oh, sorrry

    - i forgot to say 'that the HD is already pluged to a power adapter, so it dosent need any power, but the 'sata to usb' is only used to convert the port from sata to usb, so i can plug it to the Apple airport USB port

  • Can you use a harddisk which is pluged in sata to usb port and connect it to the apple airport ?

  • @m4unot you know i haven't tried but i honestly don't think so because i think it has to be an external using an external power supply; i don't believe that the usb port has power running through it to power your idea, or any portable usb hdd

i could be wrong but that would be my guess

  • * isn't it

  • Why is it called an access point? Isn't more like of a router?

  • @gidigida because i guess some people call it a router... but it has no built in Ethernet switch for hardwire... it is meant to create a small wireless only network or connect a no wireless device to a network or bridge a network it can only accommodate 1 feature at a time, where as say the AirPort Extreme will do multiple at the same time
