  • What a loser with a red and white shirt.

  • Is Fatherland Germany, related to Homeland USA?I mean they both did the same things USA against Mexicans asking for papers, Germany against Jews asking for papers.. History repeats.

  • wow, most of the us customs agents on the sd/mexican border are such assholes. i pity the poor mexican people for having to deal with such ruthless pricks.

  • Wow the agents were being very tolerant of you hippies.

  • where is berlin wall?

  • someday does it have to change!! Germany's wall gone...so!!

  • @trumpetmariachi75,

The wall in Germany divided a civilized nation. The US/Mexico Border separates a drug and violence infested 3rd world shit hole from what still is a civilized nation. Though far from perfect, it is like a leaking dam that filters out 90% of all the negative shit that Mexico has to offer. If you want a positive change, start in Mexico since that is where the root of the problem is.

  • i imagine that you came to mexico to our beach ajjaja cancun maybe, and i agree with you in some things like a we have a lot of insecurity problems i agree but you should visit mexico or our beaches , you can see a lot of american people swiming in our beaches, and some try to buy a house this side of the border, but by the way i respet your way to think about my country and i reserved my way to think about yours!! i know that your country has a good things

  • but you can fin a lot of bad things too , you can ask any person around the world.

  • That guy at the end call himself a human rights supporter... Shame. People are getting killed on our front doors because of drugs and he wants to symbolically aggravate the problem.

  • Borders divide nations, people, ideas, ideals, and ... choirs too.

  • Borders keep out the bad people who cause criminal behavior in our society. If mexicans weren't so violent with their gangs, murders, rapes, drug cartels, smugglings, and so on we wouldnt need borders. Too many of them have ruin the open border privilages.

  • hi, the problem is that we are alot of good mexican, and there are some bad mexican, that the goverment should to kil and nod try to catch them, that is the problem here, but not all the mexican are like the bad guys. you should visit mexico city and some states capitols around mexico, we consider Tijuana like a bad place that the goverment should clean from those bad mexicans ganst.

  • Maybe for the next action, they should have mainstream press with them and all move in a united front toward the fence. It looked like the guy in the "human rights observer" shirt could have used more support. Just an observation from somene who wasn't involved in the planning, but I'd like to be involved in the future.

  • I really love the idea of a bi-national choir...let's get 5,000 people singing!

  • U.S. Fascism at the border. Is that Blackwater doing the dirty work today?

  • As a Catholic I am outraged that this "Priest" would use communion as a weapon to express his political views. No one is keeping the folks on the south side there from going to Mass in Mexico and receiving communion. This whole debate shows to me the HUGE unseen hypocrisy coming from Mexico and all these pro immigrant groups who do and say nothing about the corrupt southern border of Mexico. It is a felony to be in Mexico illegally, where is the outrage?

  • I think you misunderstood what happened here. The pastor wasn't attempting to enter into Mexico. Border Patrol had set an arbitrary line about 100 ft from the border that they didn't want anyone to cross. The pastor and the people in line with him wanted to be able to share communion with the people waiting on the other side right at the border fence. People sharing and visiting through the border fence was common practice in this area for generations until DHS recently put a stop to it.

  • Nope, I understand. They are enforcing the law. Drugs have constantly been passed through "Friendship Park", the trust was violated and it is now off-limits. Deal with it.

  • Oh, Ok. I thought maybe you thought he was trying to cross. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't think this is/was a hot area for drug smuggling. What makes you think so?

  • Because it has been used to pass drugs across. Obviously not hundreds of pounds at a time but enough. And now they are going to fence it up.... decided by your government, and the Border Patrol (and Sheriff's Dept from the looks of it) are enforcing the new boundary.

  • Because drug dealers passed drugs through there that means they cannot allow these people to get together? That is stupid, if you say you are a catholic, then behave like christ, he said become like me, what would he do? would he say you mexican guys stay there, you guys here don't go further, that is not Godlike at wll. Peace!!!

  • BP stands for Bunch of Pendejos!!!!!

  • Good job BP! Soon the Drug smuggling "Friendship Park" will be shut down for good...

  • While our troops protect the opium fields of Afghanistan. God Bless Amerca!

  • Last time I checked they were eradicating any opium fields they came upon...
