  • cute!!!

My 2 (female) rabbits are also making a nest, but... Well... Their both female, and there's no male bunny in the area:P

  • Not to be rude, but what don't you have a nesting area for them inside and why do you let them burrow outside like that? What if ia snake slithered in there? If they went inside you couldn't save them!

  • @ValkyereHowie the bunny is gonna want to naturally build her own nest anyways probably :)

  • @lyndabbe Not trying to be a hater or anything, just would never let my own rabbit do that, I'd be too scared of him or her getting hurt or killed.

  • @ValkyereHowie oooh no dont worry i wouldnt either haha :) i have a boy bunny paul anka haha. he lives inside and doesnt even go outside right now. i live in australia and myxamotosis is very common right now :(

  • @lyndabbe Paul Anka? Lol cool. Oh shit! Myxamotosis, from what I've heard is ABSOLUTELY horrific!!! I don't know a lot about it, just heard a little bit and saw a few pictures of rabbits with it, my geez, those poor rabbits. It's kind of hard to understand why loving, intelligent, non-violent creatures like bunnies have to suffer like that.

  • @ValkyereHowie yeah paul anka haha :)

yeah myxamatosis was this disease they spread throughout australia to help lower the population in rabbits. but the problem was mosquitos can carry it with them, so as soon as they bite a bunny, they pass it on. as soon as the bunny has it theres a 98% chance of it being fatal :( its so sad.

  • @lyndabbe We are SUCH an eff-ed up species. As sad and horrific as them hunting/killing rabbits would have been, which obviously I wouldn't condone of either lol, creating a disease like this that doesn't even just kill, but makes them suffer terribly before they die is just ABSURD and limtlessly HORRIFIC! Complete BS. Poor bunnies. Suffer cause we're idiots.

  • hahahahh!! nesting is definitely adorable. =]

  • BUNNEHS ARE CUTE! But you know whats even more cute than pet bunnehs??? The FLUFFY WILD BUNNEH i just uploaded on my channel, cought on video in 2008 in HOlland.

  • You have a really cool set up for your rabbits. How did you do it?

  • Wow! She's awful busy. :3 So cute. <3

  • law mower

  • they collect grass for their babies and to store it away trust me thats what my bunnys do they also collect grass to build their nests too =)

  • I love how at the end she hops into her hole :D

  • @TheBunnyluver99 Yep! And the black one was going "Hmmm! Where did she go?!" hehe :) Too cute!

  • That is adorable! I wish I could have another bunny, but mine is crazy enough!

  • you have only 1???

  • Hahahah amazingly cute but how do you get your bunnies out of the lil tunnel system thing they got going on?!

  • great grass! my guinea pigs would die of happiness if they had grass like that!

  • Aww thats so cool. What a cutie. I miss having bunnies so much. They are the best fun!! Not boring like everyone thinks!! :)

  • Mama bunnies are so sweet "I must collect the bestest grass fer mah babeez!"

  • lol, why did she run around the bike instead of right to the hole?

  • my guess is because rabbits are prey animals and rarely run very far in a straight line

  • lmao!!!!

  • Yes, they do. Hard to believe, I know, but they do. Mainly because they and their ancestors lived underground in burrows.

  • very cool!

  • Aww how sweet, did she have the babies afterwards and if so how are they?

  • Oh your bunny looks like mine ! ;oD

  • I had two female bunnies, Bits & Bijou. After we brought a male for them, Bijou got pregnant and starting shedding/plucking fur off her body. After she picked herself clean, she started Bits! Bits spent a lot of time running away from Bijou. :P

  • lawl, my bunny only takes grass for herself...

  • aww... mommy bunny so sweet. mine only used hairs of the dad to make a nest, we didnt really have a yard they can dig at. but KYAAA!! so cute and wonderful of your bun.

  • That's bunny-heaven!

If only I had a garden of my own......

  • did they build themselves the building underground ?

  • makes u appreciate ur own mom...o.o

  • ohhhh i think grass killed my bunny :(

dont let him out there to long.

  • I doubt grass killed your bunny. Probably pesticides or something, but not grass.

  • True. Although, a rabbit should only ever eat fresh grass that they nibble up themselves. Never feed a rabbit lawn clippings.

  • is dandalions ok?? my rabbit eats them ALL the time

  • What a good little mommy she is!

This is the first time I've ever seen a rabbit go down a hole. Thanks for that.

  • Dang im jealous of his house xD

  • me too and they said i made out with who? whats new? oh hang on, gotta poo. so ima head over to the loo and trust me, when im over there, waht you here aint a cow moo and if you think it is, you a foo. the little kangaroo on the pooh show is named roo. BOO! i know, i scared you too. in the moringing there is dew. some people think its just goo. thooose people belong in the zoo. just like you. yes. dat is your que. my uncles name is hue.
  • wat a good mom!

  • NOT have grass. Only rabbit milk, goat milk, or kitten replacer milk. The fist layer of bedding is grass. The second layer is leafs, and the third layer is fur.

she may take old cloth if she lives in a town. She will use these also. She will cover them with grass and fur. It must be very warm in the burrow. Every day she must go and gather fresh leafs and grass and clean out the burrow. As the grass and leafs become brown and icky. And as it becomes soiled with droppings.

  • Well inside of burrows female rabbits have a square ring of grass, neatly stacked. Because, the babies can crawl around, and if she doesn't have a well of hay, her kits will run off. And she has lots of grass in the middle. For the boarder, she needs long, fairly hard pieces of grass, for the middle, she needs long, soft pieces. You see, if the wall if to soft, they can push it down. And if the pieces of grass in the middle are to hard and sort, they can accidentally swallow it. Baby rabbits can

  • what my rabbit does when shes pregnant is she pulls out her fur from her stomach and when she goes back to the nest she pulls alot out of her throat! it was funny last time cuz she pulled out her fur too hard she fell

  • So sweet...

  • It wasn't getting the grass for food, it was getting grass for a nest.

The reason it looks fat is because it is pregnant.

when rabbits are pregnant, they start making a nest by digging a hole and bringing grasses and other soft material to make a comfy nest for the baby and mother to rest in.

I LOOOVVEE bunnies because of how they are so affectionate with each other even if they're neutered/spayed.

Not only that but their poop has no smell and is great fertilizer!

  • well. rabbits don't eat grass like that, they eat kinda slowly and they eat a little at a time. Or at least my rabbits do

  • They kinda "slurp" it. It's not like a soup noodle slurp, more like a chew-slurp.

  • becouse bunnies dont collect grass unless theyre bringing it to their babies... If this rabbit was gonna eat that grass it would have eaten it right there and not taken the time to collect it

  • exactly!!! My rabbit sits there and eats grass for 2 minutes, and then runs around like a psycho. my girl bunny has never been out side because I got her and then it snowed...

  • wait, thats your rabbit? o_o and..wah..

  • aww

and then she just slipped back into her burrow. so cute!

  • omg i want your yard.. >.> theres just a family of bunnies under your house?

  • Wow!! That's so cute! Bunnies are so sweet...it looks like she piced only the best grass for her babies.

  • are those your bunnies!!!!!!

  • aw... i wanted to see what it does with the grass and it went into the burrow loll

wow i wonder what's her qualifications are for the grass.. doesnt seem like she's picking whatever's out there

  • omg they have their own burrow thats realy coool

  • lol. funny lawn mower.

  • This is a natural for a mother to gather stuff for her babies. At least she is actually caring for her babies instead of harming them like other animals will do.

  • Aww bless.

  • What a good mother rabbit... :)

  • Loved it!!!!! Thanks a lot!

  • Not that I condone breeding rabbits (there are plenty of dumped, neglected and abused ones already that need homes), I do nonetheless find this an interesting video. Very cool.

  • ive never actually seen a rebbit do that. my rabbit's a male, and we taught him not to dig bc he lives inside and sometimes he trys to dig a hole in the couch

  • my rabbit took her fur off to make the nest.

  • That rabbit has the exact same coloring as my (sadly deceased) Misty did, and she dug holes all over the yard too!

  • I had a rabbit named Snuffalufagus who looked like that too, but with some white markings and white and black 'socks' and she was dwarf, so a little smaller than this one, it would seem.

  • Okay, my apologies -- there is a mama.

My rabbit made her nursery with fur instead of grass. She was a white angora -- so it looked a snowstorm. With babies hidden away. Pretty cushy looking grass there.

  • OMG...So cute =DD

Made me smile alot.....and my friend who likes bunnies would be watching this video for like 100 times xD

  • sooo kool..i like the hole =]

  • Cool, it lives in the backyard or what ? =P

  • rabbit making a crazy ass nest for... rabbit making a crazy ass nest for... rabbit making a crazy ass nest for... rabbit making a crazy ass nest for...

  • is it a she ?

  • That is so cute. You should shine a flashlight down the rabbit hole one day when shes not in there and videotape what it looks like inside. I would love to see.

  • My rabbit pulls out her fur, and makes nests with that, even though she's too old to have any babies and has no sperm donor.

  • Yeah thats true grass is also food for them too

  • thank you mr. redundant :D

  • I saw my bunny do that before but he didn't do it to feed any babies. It was wierd he had like a bundle of hay in his mouth bigger than my fist. he wouldn't let it go either, i could pick him up by the hay and he would let go. I think it's a game he plays, How much can i fit in my mouth. Bunnies are funny.

  • thats cool that the rabbits actually finished the digging the hole. we had to get rid of ours because they tore up the backyard.

  • thats so cool!

it went into a hole :O

  • The hole is awesome

  • My bunny does that in the spring, she gets hug wads of hay in her mouth, then starts pulling her fur out, too, and runs around with that. She looks so funny!

  • Adorable!

  • she looks pissed lol those kids are getting on its last nerves

  • lol

  • omg they live in a hole?

    cool.

  • for the horde!

  • hey who needs a lawnmorrow just tell a few rabbits that if they keep the grass short they can eat it as payment

  • A rabbit architect. A rabbitect.

  • Rofl genius

  • i use to have one but my dog ripped it up in two :(

  • What???Your dog ripped your rabbit into 2???

  • yeah real sad it got out of the cage somehow

  • we have the same rabbit! lol

  • The other rabbit got jealous watching the first one pimp his crib with grass.

  • LMAO I thought so too! XD

  • It lives in a hole under your house?

  • Gathering Bunny to Black bunny: Follow me, and i'll show you how deep the rabbit hole really goes...

  • where does that hole lead to? lol

  • lol i love the way the bunny ran! FLEE FOR YOUR LIFE BUNNY!!!

  • Hah! reminds me of 1 of my bunnies - she moved all her hay from her feeding rack into her litter pan so she had a mountain of hay in her bunny condo.

  • aww...how cute...haha...that black ones like...i'm not going in there, lol

  • lol, this is so funny! lol, but i think u should keep ur bunny inside, and let it out in a fenced area with no holes in the ground, cause its kinda dangerous. ^^

  • yo rabbit on thirst mode, lol

  • Rabbits FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • i highly doubt that

  • you keep your rabbit in the garden and it has a hole? How do you know it won't run away/ get eaten?

  • aww... what a good mummy rabbit!!

  • ha my rabbit does something similar to that....shes like a hoover ;)

  • it's sooo cute. i love rabbits.

  • disturbedman2610 : falta do quê fazer hein??!!

  • aww, i like how she skidaddled and scurried down the hole

  • Lol. My rabbit Maris does the same thing except with her fur and litter. She looks a little bald...

  • Alguém sabe dizer qual a raça desse coelho? è diferente, tem a cabeça compacta, com uma proeminência acentuada, além das orelhas mais curtas do que o normal. Algém sabe?

  • I have some wild ones at the moment. We have a neiborhood resident cat we keep running off. I sure hope someone out of 5 make it. the cat don't see the babies.. only Mom, so we keep watching just in case we need to feed them.

  • lol that's very cute and funny!

  • ohmygosh..this is too cute! wow..my bunny was lazy, he would dig maybe half an inch of dirt and then move on..never a tunnel. was she really preggers? my bro's bunny always thought she was pregnant and pulling out her fur to make these nests, even tho she wasn't.

  • So cute. Nice lawn. Looks like suousa grass or St Augustine.
