Sometimes I really don't like ghost adventures because they are so mean and yell at the spirits like a bunch oh baboons. Lol But Poveglia Island has the most messed up history. The bubonic plague , the wars, and don't forget the insane asylum with the crazy doctor that went crazy and killed lots of the patients. Just wonderful -.- but its sad too :(

Poveiglia is not haunted. It's just an island which was used for quarantine when the water level in the lagoon sank too low for ships to dock at the other lazarettos. Later it had a hospital then an old people's home. Transportation to Poveiglia wasn't always a death sentence, indeed, patients were allowed to send and receive post. Yes, it is tragic so many died, but denying the truth of the events dishonours their memory.

@katefromkateandscout It was a mask that Renaissance doctors wore during plagues, especially in Italy. They would stuff herbs in the beak section of the mask. Zak probably got one of his best trigger objects with that one.

It's a scary episode, but I am not sure I like how they handled everything. Those spirits are in no doubt in agony after having a horrific death. It would be nice if there was someone who is able to heal these poor souls. No wonder it's so scary and those spirits are so angry.

When patients starting claiming that they saw/heard the ghosts of plague victims he then opened up a research wing where he would conduct these crazy experiments, and according to legend the spirits pushed him outta of the bell tower and while on the ground a white mist came up outta of the ground and strangled him to death, thumbs up so others can understand why the island is so scary \m/

it is legit. it was even on the news. they took the video to an video analysist and everything to see if the video was edited in any way. and it wasnt. theres even a dvd about the video that caught the most shocking paranormal evidence that ghost exists. i know because i own the dvd. you've never seen a ghost. i can tell. your one of those if i cant see it it doesnt exist. well let me tell you. ive seen ghosts. not heard them. seen them. especially when i was little. they exist

I stopped seeing ghosts after applying rational thought and growing up. Sure there's some wierd things that need explaining, but I'd much rather look for a more realistic explanation than a floating bedsheet. The imagination is a powerful tool... But that doesn't stop me wanting to explore abandoned buildings to "ghost hunt" for thrills... Just not with these shitheads. Their EVPs don't even sound like anything at all until they make up some subtitles for it.
