Marvellous poetry of a legend, S M Sadiq. One of my favourite kalams of Sadiq sahib is ' Jey tu rub nu manaran pehley yar nu mana, rub man janda yar nu manaran aokha a' . It is a supreme level of poetry sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali khan.

S M Sadiq, the great Lyricist of our time. His work is of the class of Sufi poets like waris shah, hashim etc. I think he has huge contibution in the sucess of Ustad Nusrat fateh ali khan. Im amazed where frm he pick the such nice n deep words in his shayari which hav magical effcet on listeners.
