i love the way they sort of recreated this scene in the dark knight, except with batman approaching the joker in the batpod. now that i noticed it, the ending scene was also recreated, when the joker falls off from the roof of the skyscraper. kind of similar stuff, but i love the way chris nolan's film pays homage to the classic.
