i love asian cinema, but it annoys me how many originals have been westernised by hollywood. simple fact is hollywood would never be able to come up with such elaborate plots and twists on their own. they instead remake asian classics and generally do a bad job of it too. infernal affairs remade into the departed, a tale of two sisters remade into the uninvited and the ring to give you a few quick examples, these remakes couldnt stand up to the original. thats just my opinion. but its right. lol

Looks excilent to me, Japan ain't America they have a different way of viewing the world, you either like foriegn films or you don't. I personally love 'em. Look at Dario Argento's Italian horror movies, very different from his American contemperys Romero, Cronenburg and such. Either open your mind to different movies or keep your opions to your self, Opions are like ass'ole we all got one & they all stink. lol
