  • This is why rocket launchers should be standard equipment on all cars. Well... all of MY cars.

  • A left lane bandit lives in a peaceful little world of ease and comfort. He goes on his merry little way with little mental or physical effort. Then he gets t-boned for not paying attention. - A Typical Kansas City Driver.

  • @jeabo0adhd Oh how I WISH it was only KC, but (sigh), it is not.

  • Holy shit.

If you're consciously driving in the passing lane and *defending* your actions, you absolutely need to kill yourself immediately.

You hold up traffic by creating congestion, and you make driving more dangerous for those that *know* to drive right/pass left by eliminating the space between other cars.

And don't use "I'm obeying the speed limit" as an excuse. Obey the speed limit and stay in the "obey the speed limit lane" just like everybody else.

  • @WhatBadGod I've gotta say that you hit the nail directly on the head with your comment. Sickening how many people are killed, injured or generally involved in a wreck because of these left lane hogs. They blame alcohol and cell phones but in realitity I suspect that there are more accidents caused by LLB's. If you happen to make a video of "them" let me know and I'll add it to my Left Lane Bandit playlist on my channel.

  • this kind of shit is very prevalent in Hawaii, drivers out here are FUCKING MORONS!!!!!!!!!

  • @fayette1983 on TV when they show highways in Hawaii, they always look empty with people just cruising. I guess it's the same everywhere though.

  • What is it about the garbage state that makes traffic flow so incomprehensible to jersey jackasses? It never fails. Any time they come into the city, you can count in JJs driving 40 while traffic's going 60 -- in the left lane no less. The only time a jersey jackass will accelerate to actually keep within 1-2 secs from the car in front of them like they're supposed to, is when they're keeping you from getting in front of them.

  • @jkirk1626 coming down a little hard on Jersey aren't we? I thought it was Pennsylvania cars that were the worst. I guess I'll have to agree with the part about them closing up tight. The rule is in Jersey (and NYC) that if you want to merge left you have to look like you are going right so they relaz and back off at which point you "merge" quickly.

  • no speed limits, everybody just floor it

  • @jimgbowman111 Okay by me.

  • why do people need to pass when you are already doing more than the speed limit?

  • Common coutesy, drive right, pass left. Some people like to go faster so what's the deal? The worst that can happen is they get caught instead of you.

  • @vbdenny apparently people don't know that you can only drive on the left lane for no more than 2 miles. Left lane is the passing lane. You're rite about these douches, but i do hate people that push the speed limit way off to pass, that's not rite either.

  • @jimgbowman111 It's the law. It doesn't matter how fast you're going. Traffic flow governs. If you're not within 2 seconds of the guy in front of you or getting there, then you're in the wrong lane. It seems efficiency would explain itself, but w migh be expecting too much. Fahren Sie rechts as our German friends say: drive [always] to the right.

  • That's not going to work. If the speed limit was 1 million, I'd still want to go 2 million.

  • If I'm doing the speed limit, why does it matter what lane I'm in? If the speed limit is 75 and I'm in the left lane doing 75, you shouldn't want to pass me anyway. Correct? So, why should it make any difference?

  • In Virginia, it is ilegal to stay in the left lane and block a passing car even if the other vehicle is exceeding the speed limit. Many states clearly post keep right. The reason it matters is that it backs up traffic behind creating a dangerous situation.

  • Moron. "Keep right except to pass" is more than just a law, it's consideration for everyone else on the road. Who appointed you to enforce speed laws? How about if I enforce "keep right" laws and do things to you while I'm driving? I hope you wind up driving in Europe and tie up the left lane. They'll drag your gay ass out of your car and feed you your steering wheel. Better yet I hope you wind up in front of me, you self-righteous, inconsiderate piece of dog waste. I'll make you think twice.

  • you go WD. and I do think you could have mentioned dog shit on here. dog waste sound far to mellow

  • Deeply sorry for not saying dog shit. Won't happen again.

  • thanks WD. we like to be straight up around here, I shit you not! lol

  • Definitely the worst on 2 lane highways. I live in Jersey also, and that shit is fucking terrible when douche bags just clog up both lanes. I'm impatient so I hate sitting behind a bunch of slow rollers.

  • that's Jersey, people like to roll in the Garden State and get tired of Penna and Del people blocking the hammer lanes.

  • @vbdenny Jersey jackasses don't like to roll. They're the ones holding up the show in nyc. The rule is keep from 1/2 a second to 2 seconds form the guy in front of you. JJs seem to think it's 2 mins: always holding up everyone. If JJs complain about PA and DE, that's bad. JJs are wannabes NYers and Phili. I find it hard to believe PA are worse than jersey.

  • I hate being passed by fast rollers so i love having you douche bags behind me

  • It's ok that's what the bike is for.

  • ahhh, I envy you retired people who have the time to just ease along. When I retire, I'm not going over 50 but I will stay in the slow lane

  • Holy crap, are you kidding me? Whoever said I did that? I was asking a question as a what if? In case you didn't notice, the very first word I said was "if." Maybe you should learn to read and understand words before calling other people morons. I really don't understand this attack.

  • And everyone should know you are speaking in hypothetical situations rather than voicing your opinion? You ask "what if" and you got a bunch of answers. I have read and understood your words. Do you understand this attack now?

  • what consideration are you showing when you pass them? that you are more important or better than them? what if everyone wanted to pass you?

  • "What if everyone wanted to pass me"? I'd let them pass you inconsiderate piece of dog shit. It's not "better" or "more important" you fucking halfwit. It's simply "faster". When you learn the distinction between the two you may see that it is not a personal attack. Somehow I doubt it though. You have really tipped your hand with your comments.

  • The ultimate irony: a left-lane hog sympathizer lecturing people on "consideration." *lol*

If people want to pass me, then I let them pass me by staying to the right. Hell, I set to cruise control between 80 and 85 miles per hour on rural Interstates, but I still stay to the right if I'm not about to pass anybody. If somebody wants to go 90, I let them pass me on the left going 90. Besides, once they're past me, I'll never see them again anyway unless the $tate police are enforcing $afety.

  • It is a law in NJ, keep right except to pass. It is a shame cops don't pull people over more for this, instead of just lazy speeding tickets.

  • The left lane should be pass and return only. You should not be allowed to drive a hybrid in the left lane(how are you saving the environment at 75-80?). When I'm in the left and I have on my left signal and I flash you, don't get pissed just move out of my way and come back if you want. Don't drive the same speed or slower than the car on you're right. I hate people that stay in the left if its clear beyond them and they are going slow.

If people did this we would not have people weaving!

  • its simple. if your not passing anyone get in the fucking right lane. if you do happen to pass someone in the left get back into the fucking right

  • That is an excellent idea. Maybe higher limits for the left lane. I think the Germans use something like this. As far as 75 in the left lane goes, if traffic in the left lane is running at 10-85 and you are going 75, you are impeding the traffic flow. Most people understand that when you go out to pass, you either wait until and overtaking car passes, or accelerate to clear the lane.

  • I agree with that. If I am clear or can clear easily, I always move to the right lane at every opportunity. I don't like when someone tailgates me when I have no place to go.

  • Once again the problem is caused by stupidity, the people next to you should leave room for you to return to the right. But they don't they just look at you're blinker and speed up into you're blind spot.

  • Hey, I looked at the leftlane drivers website. A move over sticker, a novel idea.

  • one word . maybe two...MOVE OVER--> .!!

    leftlanedrivers . org

  • Even if you try to lket them in, they hang in the left lane. I have seen many of the people finally pass and then stay in the left lane even though the right lane is empty. I even pointed to the sign that said SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT. They just look puzzled.

  • Doesn't help that no one lets them in

  • While I have to understand your frustration, let me tell you what works better. Put the bastards on YouTube. I have no idea why people feel they gotta stay in the left lane. I guess some do it because they are patriots, others because they are ignorant, and some because they are mean. Either way I wish they would GTFOOTW or step on it.

  • here in connecticut there are alot of asses that hang out in the left lane angers me and my dad ALOT lol so if u ever see a red truck flying past u on the right =)

  • The point is safety. It is important for people to move over once they pass so as not to cause traffic to bunch up behind them and cause a potentially dangerous situation. In my opinion, speeding isn't really breaking the law since the majority of Americans speed. Maybe the problem is the speed limits.

  • I agree. I drive here in Europe on the German Autobahn (The SAFEST highway system in the world) and you don't hang-out in the left lane. It is forbidden to pass on the right. People in Europe spend a lot of money to get a license, they know the rules, and it shows. I am completely relaxed cruising at 130mph knowing some jackass won't cut me off--just because.

  • lucky you! lazy American drivers who meander in there lanes and don't look around them. They are the reason our road rules are so strict, except left lane hogging. I'm trying to push for them to stop that very poor habit. I don't want more restrictive rules, just public opinion changed.

  • The point of this is what? People are keeping you from breaking the law? You should be thanking them.

  • Shithead - learn to drive. Who the hell are you to decide how fast I drive. If you are too afraid to drive faster, then fine, but you dont have the right to hold me up. Pricks like you should take the fucking bus.

  • lol THANK YOU for that. I was just driving home today on the highway and had to face a bunch of idiots in the freakin left lane going 55mph. It's funny that you call them shitheads too b/c that's exactly what I kept saying the whole way home lol

  • @IrishBadBoyCA I wonder what you'll say when you one day are driving to fast, and crash into another car. Ignorant fool.

  • Yeah people are keeping you from breaking the law by breaking a different law. Nice try imbecile.

  • Arr!
