In what way was I not calm? This was a completely calm video. I'll assume you meant DEfensive over magic. If that's the case, yes, I am. I do magic to feed my family and to pay my bills. People disrespecting it offends me. Poor performance and needless exposure kills an artform that I've devoted a good portion of my life too. I feel no need to cut corners when giving my opinions on bad magic or people hurting my personal and my friend's incomes.
You seem to have a problem with the people that create magic to put food on the table for their families. I have no issues with people teaching magic that they've created. I do, however, have a problem with the parasites that rip people off and steal their ideas, teaching them to anyone, magician or not. If you have an original idea, teach it however you want. The people that expose magic here hurt the income of every magician. Money is right. This is how we make our livings.
I also agree. Most of the people who are exposing magic are little kids who don't practice enough. But most of the time people forget how things are done. If your good enough at magic and misdirection, most of the time you will still fool them even if they know the basics. Im not to worried about it effecting my performances but I do find it disrespectful when people just give away the secrets.
Overall I think that more magicians will come here then people who reveal magic. The reson for that is because magicians don't want peoplerevealing it as for the people who do reveal it don't care at all they are doing it.
I agree. I have a good feeling that the people supporting exposure will avoid this, but it's worth it for me to post this just as evidence that their argument is wrong.

You're right. I think the only people who should be allowed to expose are just a select few magicians who sell DVD's. We wouldn't want to upset them.
If they're so uptight about exposure then why are they videoing their secrets themselves for everyone to see? Oh, money. I see.
