The voting turn out at the poll I voluteered at was just sad overall.....Poll workers jumping on the folks needing to park in the handicap spots because it was within OUR 40 ft buffer didn't help....Only the volunteers needed to mind the buffer zone..but they litereally walked out and told these people to NOT park in handicap reguardless of having a sticker. I saw 2 people leave and not come back. Lawyers were called....got ugly...*sigh*

Your correlations are incorrect. Get over your self. Most people who are educated are aware of the flip flop in party values during the 20th century. They also know the KKK did not create the party. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison created the Democratic-Republican party which split over James Buchanan. Really the flip happened with FDR as he adopted American Liberal ideas. Virginia has a one term limit and never elects the same party in consecutive elections. Low and behold exit polling shows voters have a 57% positive view of Obama.
In NJ Corzine was a fool who was also corrupt and people were tired of it. Again, exit polls show a 51% positive view of Obama.
In NY a Democrat won in a district that no Dem has won since the Civil War.

The voting turn out at the poll I voluteered at was just sad overall.....Poll workers jumping on the folks needing to park in the handicap spots because it was within OUR 40 ft buffer didn't help....Only the volunteers needed to mind the buffer zone..but they litereally walked out and told these people to NOT park in handicap reguardless of having a sticker. I saw 2 people leave and not come back. Lawyers were called....got ugly...*sigh*

You misunderstand the law. The lawm, or social contract is morality, the most basic unit of morality which allows us to live in society.

Laws can be moral but laws also need a logical reason for being. When laws are just based on moral inclinations like gay marriage bans, anti-sodomy laws, polygamy bans etc. they tend to be ridiculous in nature and go against the founding principles of this country.

Why is there so much conservative spin on these races in the media? Virginia is a conservative state and Corzine was a very weak candidate. At the same time Owens beat Hoffman who was riding the wind of an insane amount of media attention.
