@DRfermasMs The closest BART station is Oakland City Center, but thats about a ten block walk. I suggest riding AC Transit either the 58 or the 72.

I think it used to be 3 tracks they just never torn out the tracks and just paved over them

Yes there was a 3rd track there. Some of it is exposed & some has been paved over

if there was, and i've been living the the Bay Area all my life, we would've known about it. I think in the many years Jack London Square has been there, there have been no derailments.

Yes BART leave you off right there. We came out of the parking lot walked about 40 feet & there were the tracks. Parking there is awfully pricy though

are the rails still there? and if they are can you tell me what to write on google maps to find the quickest way from a highway to there.

Well it is right next to the container terminals. Yes the rails are still there & if you were in SF just take BART across the bay & it leaves you off at the tracks. Maybe if you do a MAPQUEST of Oakland & go west towards the water you will find it. I am from Texas & my bro took me there & he knew how to get there
