@MrMichael530 That might be what it's like where you live, but in the state I live in (ND) all our cops are required to have a GED along with 4-6 months of Police Academy which includes the typical Police Camp alongside a few college courses. They must maintain a 3.5 GPA at all times. Now, I will admit that some cops do some stupid things that get them media attention... but I can bet that's only a minority of all cops.

Plus like you said Academy's run about 6 months, field training about the same. Today's cops are the most highly trained in history. You can conceal the object and when a employee see's you and still have it or put it back on the shelf, its larceny. Look it up. @MrMichael530 That might be what it's like where you live, but in the state I live in (ND) all our cops are required to have a GED along with 4-6 months of Police Academy which includes the typical Police Camp alongside a few college courses. They must maintain a 3.5 GPA at all times. Now, I will admit that some cops do some stupid things that get them media attention... but I can bet that's only a minority of all cops.

Plus like you said Academy's run about 6 months, field training about the same. Today's cops are the most highly trained in history. Plus they have to go to 100's hours of yearly training, monthly firearms qualifications, you name it.

You can conceal the object and when a employee see's you and still have it or put it back on the shelf, its larceny. Look it up. Trust me I know this from a lot of experience, I put a lot of people in jail for larceny. Its a law a lot of times not known about or acted on, since you need to prove intent. Its a slippery slope to prove.
