When I was without internet for a while I gave the game a try, Boring at shit at the start... But as I got farther and farther the story was interesting and the ending took me by suprise, The expansion I tried mask of the betrayer I could not handle it because the game kills you if you have not consumed enough souls... Also I was hoping to keep my companions at the end which were fun to have around. Anyways I think The NWN 2 is good. If you don't bother with the expansions.. but just my opinion.

Its the story line that really makes the game kick ass...if the controls were a little like Wow then it would be slightly better recieved i guess

You know, if Neverwinter Nights was grid-based, say like... Fire Emblem or ACTUAL D+D, I think it would have been a LOT more fun. Party up, and play with friends from across the world, as well as use ventrillo and such to communicate. I think its an interesting concept. Sorry to say NWN and NWN2 was so darn boring....

no, fuck your gay ass JRPG ways, North America practicaly invented RPG's with DnD.

And it was only grid based if you used actual gridpaper, some people didn't play with a board AT ALL, and those that DID use gridpaper, it wasn't actually turn based, as various things could interrupt a certain players sequence, such as an Attack of Oppurtunity.

Why this was quite a good game, capable of helping us forgive the horror that was Neverwinter Nights I. It's still boring in many ways though
