I didn't like Ange the first time I saw her... She was a Deus Ex Machina, a way to get Battler out of an impossible situation. That pissed me off, and her incessant need to cut into the story with her drawn out flashbacks didn't help her chances of me liking her.... But when I realized what was truely happening in her flashbacks, that she was so lonely that she created the stake sisters, Sakutaro, and even her cousin MARIA just to stave off the lonliness... My heart felt crushed... T_T
