HIM is most definitely not a "Sell Out" band. They got played on MTV....okay, they are getting the attention they DESERVE. There's no such thing as "old HIM". It's the same HIM. Dying Song was finally released on Screamworks, he was working on that song since 1992. Sell outs? HA. I think not. It just shows how versatile this great band is. HIM for life bro.

Sold out???? Um when has HIM sold out? They still sell out venues, just because they are maturing as a band and as men doesn't mean they are not HIM, give the guys a break... True HIM fans just love the band regardless, their talent is beyond what most bands today can understand let alone come even close to achieving. I hope HIM expand and explore music the way they want, cause Ville will always do it his way!

at first I did not like dark light that much but after a few days I realised HIM's in my vein's flow.I got all their albums and songs in my ipod.I would pray for them NOT to be mainstream 'cause that's why their gothic metal music gets sometimes pop-rock influences.if they hadn't changed to be more close to wide music and more mainstream in order to attract more people by now we would be talking for the biggest gothic band.but they are not that gothic any more.......

1998 was the year I discovered this lot, thanks to Viva and their Overdrive show. though thankfully, they also broadcast stuff like e.g. this vid. so I have fond memories of this from the late '90s and even early '00s. great stuff. rather young at the time though - being born in '89.

anyway. great stuff. there is no doubt that GLSV666 puts the other albums to shame. and the other albums rule - so that's saying a lot about GLSV666 haha.
