These birds look nothing like my flock! Mine were large with silky feathers, chasing bugs all over the farm and socializing. They came when they were called and loved to eat vegetable scraps. At nap time, they'd all lie down around our big dogs and snuggle against them. At night they went into their house, and I'd lock the door until morning to keep them safe.
It's so easy to keep chickens! Simply build them a little house, get them some dogs for protection, feed them, and let them run free.
When I lived in the wilderness, I had a pet hen named Goldie. I say pet, because she was past egg-laying age. She was the matriarch of her flock. She enjoyed perching on my deck railing on the hilltop overlooking the meadow, scouting for coyotes. That tough little velociraptor had the courage to throw herself into the jaws of a coyote and scratch its eyes out, if that be necessary to protect her flock. I sure did love my little Goldilocks. These birds look nothing like my flock! Mine were large with silky feathers, chasing bugs all over the farm and socializing. They came when they were called and loved to eat vegetable scraps. At nap time, they'd all lie down around our big dogs and snuggle against them. At night they went into their house, and I'd lock the door until morning to keep them safe.
It's so easy to keep chickens! Simply build them a little house, get them some dogs for protection, feed them, and let them run free.

Any slow death I am totally against. morally acceptable? Animals are not humans is moral enough for me.People been eating meat from the beginning of time.
