That Dullahan boss battle. I couldn't bring myself to fight against him with ordinary attacks and Psynergy since he pretty much uses Djinn Storm on the party, so I used summons and managed to defeat Dullahan with that strategy.

When I think of Dullahan, unfortunately, I think of the Arena theme. Or rather, Isaac's battle theme I guess.

Man, once you beat the guy one he shows up nonstop in the arena. My record is currently sitting at 11, and I only stopped because dullahan was living up to the first 4 letters of his name.

Challenging boss? Yes, but with the right party setup you can literally sleep through almost everything unless he does several super attacks in a row, and gets lucky with charon.

@sumerian88 Djinn storm does not affect party members in the back nor those who are downed. So any members you revive after a djinn storm will have all their djinns intact. You can also stop djinn storms by paralyzing him on the turn he tries to use it, this will cause him to skip djinn storm completely.

@K900625 Well personally once Nobuo Uematsu was done with FF I felt it did go downhill. I haven't played any since 10. Now a days it's more orchestrated (which isn't bad) but there is no real difference between the musics. A game should have you being able to be walking down the street and hum or whatever the tune. Goldensun has all that. Memorable music that you will always remember, now matter how old the game is.

For all you hardcore Golden Sun gamers out there, I dare you to try to beat the game without collecting any Djinn's (except Flint because it's impossible to avoid), and the highest level character can only be 25 when you face the fusion Fusion Dragon. I did this challenge at level 19. It was the most difficult challenge ever!

Anyway, you have to do a LOT of running! And yeah, your right. If a monster doesn't use a Psynergy or a Special Attack that does near fixed damage your pretty much screwed. But it is possible! Save Often, and be sure to keep your Water of Life available!

One more thing, Ivan & Mia can't survive Fusion Dragon's "Outer Space" attack even on sour spot!

Felix was my onliest cha on 99, the rest was around 80 or something, don't rmember.. there is an Island were you can fight some monsters, and there some birds under it (german wundervögel), with them you can level up very fast... (not very fast, but faster than you can with other monsters)

All bosses in this game are so easy if you simply never use any djinn at all. Just always keep them set, spam impact and resist, attack with Sol Blade, Excalibur(s), and keep one healer in front and one in back for Djinn Storm. Can't lose if you have 2 revives in both front and back.

My current set up in the front from left to right is Sheba: Wizard, Garet: Chaos Lord, Isaac: Ronin, Felix: Protector. This setup gives you 2 revives, 2 Pure wishes, 2 Impact/Resist series. I just beat down bosses with my 2 Excaliburs and Felix's Sol Blade. Easy mode

I remember the Doom Dragon. I never did get all the djinn that was needed to fight Dullahan. When I first beat the Doom Dragon I was only level 31.

My lowest level was Sheba at lvl 93. I trained at those wonderbirds in that tunnel where you fight that updated sentinel
