The wings seems to dominate the weight of the robot, it doesn't go far when jumping from the ground. I was hoping it could jump high enough to clear and glide over obstacles. Was it designed more for one-off jumps from high distances? It would be interesting to see how far it goes without the wings, for comparison.
Also - probably not what it's intended for - but a simple jumping mechanism put onto existing RC flying toys could save a lot of them from being stuck high on roofs :)
@roidroid i guess what i'm saying is that it would be more interesting to see the result of putting wings onto an existing powerful jumping frame, rather than putting legs onto an efficient flying frame.

Robots in the future are so sophisticated. Ning.spruz.com shows the models of three robots coming in the next ten years. Amazing.
