  • So.....wait...if I stand on my head, I'm a battle station? SWEET! I wish it was a time machine, I'd use it to go back in time and punch this commercial in the gut.

  • Holy shit! I had one of these as a kid!

  • I saved for weeks to get one of these

  • I think I'm going to be sick.

  • I had one of these when I was younger too....they were pretty flimsy after moving the arms and legs so many times....Takara has released better robot toys ;-)

  • Kronoforms > Gshock

  • I had this watch many years ago

  • that sounds like a dumb piece of shit but i rember when i was a kid those were cool

  • AAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhh! I had one. Forgot about this watch.

  • Optimus Time!

  • I wish I still had my Chronoform. That really was da shit. ;-)

  • Every single mode is pretty convincing, except for the robot. Kinda lame with its feet and arms and little hands. I don't buy it. They should've left that mode out.

  • A solar creature!

  • I would love to buy this! My friends would be totally jealous

  • Ultimate way to say I'ma dork! lol

  • @nUaSvAy Now be fair, that crap was the shit in 1982-see the LCD display- we would wonder it's mysteries, like monkeys around the monolith. in 5 years iphones will be laughed at the same way-

  • I can't believe that they'd believe that anyone would buy that.

  • Hahahahahahha. shit my robowatch was blue and black. Nice! Brings back memories

  • HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER THIS COMMERCIAL! I had that watch when I was a kid! Commercials for the original transformers, The Dia-crons, were very similar. Because it was an adult solving the puzzle from robot to its alternate mode, gave me the feeling that these were not toys for little kids, but preteens & early teens.

  • Haha, I had one of those when I was a kid. Though I remember mine being red. But I'm pretty sure it was the same thing.

  • When Takara decided to advertise their Kronoform. they can't directly just make english versions of WatchRobo (Microchange Series). since most of them are already licensed by Hasbro :P

So they decide to make Totally American versions of this ad

WatchRobo ad Doesn't portray them to have multiple transformations like this sigh.

  • Transforms into a battle station, by standing on its head. Back in the day a freind showed me that & i laffed the shiney finish was cool though.

  • omfg hahahahah, i remember these!

  • i had one of these .. and it broke in a week. i was sad. didnt realize how crappy they were until now.

  • "Transforms...Into a battlestation."

Sorry buddy, that robot's just doing a headstand.

  • Ripoff of BoingBoing's joke.

  • Dude. Use Your Imagination!

    SOlar Creature is the best!

  • where to get one nowadays

  • 80's toys were so cool!

  • i agree they were the devinative

toys of the era and the watches

that do other stuff like transform

    into robots was the coolest

toy ever inventive but they are so retro

    even today.

    frankie smales

    (80's retro fan)

  • lol really convincing... stand upsidedown and im a gorilla! :->

    Cool toy though.

  • CLASSIC! :P

  • i remember we had pencil -fights for stupid stuff like this. If i broke your horizontal pencil I won

  • i have a gold one from 83.

  • What the Hell? All he did was hold it in slightly different positions? It didn't transform that many times!

I have the new watch, but it's not as good as this one.

  • OMG!!!!!! I JUST remember I had one of these as a kid!!!!!!!what ever happened to mine?!?!?

  • The Watch that can Transform into prepubescent suicide rates increasing............. chronofoooorrrrm!

  • the watch that can transform into a girl repellant....chronofoooorrrrm!

  • Anyone remember the rapping Kronoform commercial. It had a 2-way blaster radio that could transform into a robot.

  • @phoneke

you mean what was to become autobot blaster ?

  • 1. the battle station was just the robot upside-down

    2. the galactic shuttle was just the robot, with with its legs put together.

    3. And for goodness sake the cosmic panel was just the robot upside down with its leegs waving in the air.

  • I had the one that turned into a little red car/watch. Oh, the 1980s, such an innocent time....

  • I had one when I was 9 years old. I could never make

it look like a battle tank no matter how hard I

tried. I'm looking for the remake now.

  • I still want one...

  • I had one of thoose in 1985.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! love it!

  • Why is Alex P. Keaton selling robot watches? tee hee.

All seriousness, who in the holy hell decided that a robot on it's head is a battle station, flat on it's back is a ship, when doing the splits it's a tank and when "battle station" is turned the other way it's now a solar creature. Must be smoking some low grade crack.

  • try ebay ..... when he says and more............. how much more can you get out of a little robot watch ? perhaps the time?!!!!!!!

  • Jesus! I got it when I was young.... OMFG I cant find remake of it :(

  • Solor creature....looks like hand stand to me....TRANS....FORM...

    wow that's cheeze....I had one though..."silver"...Teacher took it..I was in 4th grade

  • Well your teacher probably kept it somewhere and now could make a pretty penny for it. Sue the mofo.

  • Turn it on it's side... and look... it's the anti christ!

  • I coped a red boot legged one...but I do have to agree.....how in the hell do you put something on its head and becomes a battle station....LMFAO.

  • LOL funny shit wish i was young wen this shit was around lol

  • remember, they're marketing for kids...and kids are dumb.

  • i just don't understand how i can turn something upside down its a battle station then if it falls over its all of a sudden a f*%king space ship.

  • LOL! I had one of the authentic versions. It recall accidentally breaking one of the little pins that you'd push to move it's hands out of the arms. It's a spiffy design, but those adverts are so bad they hurt.

  • what the hell is a "Solar Creature"?

  • Well, I suppose it's another one of those things invented by the C.M.J.'s who worked for the company. Clueless Marketing Jackasses rule the world of commerce, I guess. :-P

  • hahahaha u crack me up with that comment... nvr thought too much till u meantioned it... gosh the 80's were fun =)

  • Oh man, I remember that so well. Man, I got stuck with one of the blue flea market versions, and always remember wishing I had the silver one
