I give that product a F if I had to give it a grade. I follwed the soldering conections exactly as the XCM site said.

I had to look at the site this controller case came with no instructions. Then when the lights were not working there tech suppot had self help pages that tell you to test it with a 9V.

If you think that sounds like a bad idea you are right it fried the board that the lights are housed on. I would say it's ruined but you can't ruin something that never worked to begin with.

i just got mine today. I have to say that its ok. soldering isn't that hard. this was the first time i ever soldered before and it came out perfect. the only thing i didnt like were the trigger button they felt cheap and one of them actually broke while trying to put it in so i just used the white ones it actually looks better because i have a white rechargeable battery pack. i would only really recommend this if you broke your original controller case like i did.

Actually... Thats why I bought this one... really i bout it a couple of hours ago. The thin peice of white plastic near the head phone jack broke on my standard controller . By buying a new cover mod insted of a new controller I saved $20.

the reson the batter lasts the same length is because the power to use them is nearly nothing! my dad was a sign guy so i know this stuff and you can put the leds in water when its pluged in and it wont eletricute you!

No, no. 360 has the worst d-pad. I constantly try to navigate through menus and BAM it fails at life. Nintendo now fixed their d-pad though. But Sony definitely has the best d-pad of all...
