I split the defense too on a screen. It makes their defense miscommunicate and leave their defender. I watch CP3 who is more inventive with the pick and roll. I don't have much length or height like D.Wade so I use floaters, step back, and alley oop pass to big guy cutting to the basket (if you wait for the roll).

The thing that I like is that this is TEAM basketball. Everyone of these splits begins with Dwade's teammate setting a solid pick--very basic and fundamental basketball. I see so many young players who wave off teammates because they want to crossover and break someone's ankle. When you use your teammates properly, the game can be very simple but effective.
