man, i have been looking for this commercial for so long!!, no-one knew what i was talking about.. lol its surprising that searching for "peter pan peanut butter commercial where the guy climbs into a bed made out of bread" nothing came up? this commercial is awesome... memories! hahaha

It is back on the shelf and very safe to eat. My wife has been eating it since it got back on the shelves.The problem was a leak in the roof of the factory leaking onto a piece of equiptment on the production line.

They do. In fact it was just in the news recently when ConAgra, the company that makes it, recalled jars possibly affected with salmonella. Quite a number of people became sick and the product has been off the shelves for a while (I think it's back in production now?) I actually debated about putting up these ads in light of that.
