  • Great work but couldn't watch as camera kept moving all over the place!

  • @slinkysal - Sorry about that! ^^;

  • :I ..... I have, like, 11 markers and my collection looks pretty midgey compared to yours xD

  • SHUT UP BIRD!

  • @kikidemon Ohh, so they're like water colour pens?

  • Nice tutorial!

    Uhm, one question though.

What is the difference between normal promarkers and aqua colours?

  • @AGnarlyProduction -

    Thank you!

Normal colours are ALCOHOL based. The Aqua's are WATER based. These will run faster and flake your paper if you use them too harshly. :3

  • @AGnarlyProduction

They're meant to be- but I don't feel they act the same way. :c

  • pj's?

  • I also have that mane promarkers, promarkers ftw :D

  • How much did all of that Cost?

  • @macjsus - roughly $200 over a one year period.

  • added you on DA :) going to search oyu over FA :) I'm a furry art lover and drawer too, you'll fin me in Fa under "JackTheSpartan"

  • Awhsome :D Omfg...must of cost LOADS...my Mum bought be one set (10) and I have to do FIVE chores LOL ! :D Then again I am only 12 ha ha... anywayss...do you have to let the inking dry first..or ?

  • @shootingstarskycats - when inking - for blending the ink should be wet.. :D

    enjoy your pens!

  • damn you have many promarker... you have them all?

  • @Jaatelo112 I have lots, but I do not have all the colors. :<

  • those pens in 1:06 , what kind are those? are there special pens if you're using promarkers?

  • @Fantasymind1

They are Staedler fine liners. There is no special fine liner that you -need- to use with promarkers. But its best to use ones that are water/bleed proof. and WAIT for the inks to dry before using your promarkers. :3

  • @shitonaturle - @shitonaturle why thank you. :3 I don't use my markers much anymore, i really should!! D:

but what ever pictures you can find on my sites, go for it. :3 check the description.

  • @shitonaturle

But out of curiosity-- why are you watching..?? :D

  • @shitonaturle

No offense taken; its not really a tutorial- its more like one huge tip. :D Some people just need assistance on how to blend, what kind of paper to use, etc etc. this usually comes with self experience and experimentation. but some people are too afraid to experiment; so they ask for help. :3

its nothing to be ashamed of; asking for help. :3

  • I just want a desk like yours.

  • @iPlayback hehehe, its just a coffee table. :D

  • @kikidemon I want it, anyway. It seems like a desk MADE for an illustrator.

  • So many promarkers! :o

  • @Cokaoify yeah. :D

  • Yay someone who beilieves in scrap paper and Promarkers from Letraset, but don't you have a colour map?

(I need to reduce the streakiness that's for the tip.)

  • @Mattokenzi

No- i do not have a color map. :<

  • im kinda new at using promarkers and just got my 1st ones. i already love them :D

  • they are pretty fantastic. =3

  • cool tutorial! Is it me or i can hear birds? XD i have some, love them :D,

btw thanks for that vid, its nicely explained!

  • Lol Yes- At one point I had birdies. =3 I miss them, but it's also nice to have the silence. 8D

lol. And thank you very much, I hope it helps. =3

  • lol i see xD

my only problem is that i can't really shadow nicely from white to black or with other colors. I'm usually drawing cars, and its pretty hard for me... btw thanks for this video!

  • Lol. No problem.

You should look up a metal shading tutorial- It would make shading your cars a LOT easier. =3

  • O.O what was that pic at the start >.>

  • which? X3

  • My ProMarkers have costed to me over 120 euros.. ^^'' And I still want more >)

  • oh yes i understand that ... lol I feel the same way.

  • I can feel the same, because you need replacements eventually.. and they came out with new colors before stopping imports to my store.

I have these new felts from korea that are cheaper and work just as well if not better.. they're called Touch. they are all black with colored ends.

  • Man.. I was proud of my ProMarker collection (32), but.. well, I'm not so proud of it anymore.. ^^''

  • you have soo many colours !!!!

    im jealous

    great tutorial

im getting sum sone after my graphic tablet arrives ;P

  • I just got some of the aqua ones and am very glad you mentioned them... apparently they are easier to blend so I picked them over some of the more common ones...

  • This is and isnt true-- because of their high water/alcohol content- you should use heavier paper to avoid "waving". [when your paper becomes wavy after it dries] but that's the lazy way out and it can easily ruin a picture. sometimes Aquas release too much ink at once and it gets blotchy. and if you color over it with the same pen they get darker and darker so the color is not as rich as originally planned.. =/ Best of luck with them. =3

  • your a good artist

do you sell tutorial vids ?

  • i don't actually. =3 i never thought of doing so.

  • wow..so many promarker...i only have 12 of these .. =/ nice work.........But tell me.... arent they pretty expensive?

  • yes they get pretty pricey over time.. =/ out of the 70+ that i have... Costing appx. $3.50 a piece.. i have roughly $300 all together in the art supplies shown there.

  • 3.50$ a Piece ?! That is unfair ! It's 4.80€ on my island.. Gosh.. But, you're right, they're really cool~

Btw, you're tutorial has been very helpful, so thanks a lot.

  • I think the Euro is worth more than the Canadian dollar- Thats why.. You're very weclome!! <3

  • I guessen u mean ireland . . . . head to easons theirs 3.50euro there. (they def hav them on O Connell St not sure bout anywhere else . . )

  • hey can u help i have these markers i use them on qualety art paper but no mater how thick the paper the ink bleeds every where when im using them ands ends up with the eyes turning in to big blocthes of ink help?

  • Sure thing! With eyes- being they are such a small detail, use small pressure. ^^ the pens are pressure sensitive, especially if they're brand new. So be mindful on how hard you're pushing. =D

  • thanks

  • another thing u might want to take into consideration what sort of paper you are using, some papers abosorb more than others so "bleed" more

  • For sure! I thought i mentioned it- Heavier paper is usually better. Thank you for the note! ^^

  • hello! is EclairDuVerite form DA here ^^

if i had markers then i would find these tutorials helpful but i dont ^^; thought i would check them out anyway ^^ at least ur thinking of others by posting these ^^

  • Why thank you!! ^^ Maybe one day you'll own some! =D

  • This is like a subtle way for you to rub in how many more markers you have then me O.o Mean! I envy your skill....I shall stealz it...your skill AND you markers!! o.o

  • lol!! XD mai badz!

  • What you're doing is awesome,Kiki-chan!

    Hehe ILU Annu-onee-chan!
