  • 9gag?

  • WAS THE TALLEST...NOW MEXICO HAVE THE TALLEST BRIDGE

  • @TEXASWEST9 Yes this is correct but you don't have to shout! ;)

  • @TEXASWEST9 No, they don't. They have the highest cable-stayed bridge in the world. The world's highest overall bridge (deck height over ground) is in China. And the Millau Viaduct is still the tallest bridge (structural height). High and tall is not the same.

  • @TEXASWEST9 yes but that one is less tall... so i prever this as the highest 'real' bridge.

  • third class bridge.....

  • Gaffe ke José il te le démonte pas ton viaduc bourré aux hormones de croissance o cabourd!

  • That's rad.

  • France rules

  • Wow! That's insane!!!!!!!!

  • One of its kind.

  • this isnot the tallest-----The Si Du River Bridge in China is the tallest

  • @sasktank That bridge in China is the 'highest' bridge in the world. The Millau Viaduct IS the 'tallest'. I love proving idiots wrong! read first....comment later! What a dope...

  • @tiddy73 whats the difference between tallest and highest lol...?

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 If a bridge was built between Mount Everest & K2 it would be the highest! The tallest is from bottom to top!! lol...Duh!

  • @tiddy73 highest and tallest are the same thing. the higher something is, the taller it has to be, these words are interchangeable. If a tower 2000 ft high it is 2000 ft tall.

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 Not true. I'm 6' tall. If my daughter, that is 4'2" is standing on the top of a 10' platform and I am standing on the ground, I am still taller, she would be higher. "Higher" is relitive to the distance to the ground, "taller" is an absolute, the distance from the top to the bottom.

  • @itsmrbudman2u This is under the presumption that the word tall applies to the height of a single unit like a human being. It could be said that, by counting her standing on the 10' platform, she is taller. You are correct if your specific scenario is in regards to only people's height. That doesnt mean objects that one is standing on cant be counted towards making an object or person taller. Your comment is just one example of one way the word is used, however its not limited to that.

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 calm down, just because you have the amazing gift of knowing the difference between "tall" and "high," as far as bridges go, doesn't mean you have to be an ass about it, he just had a simple not so obvious question, prick....

  • @SamusMan64 shut up bitch

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 HAHAHA its great that you cant think of any real insults so you have to resort to unoffensive cursing lol what a loser.....

  • @SamusMan64 insults are for little kids, now shut up

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 To make an assumption, relative to you're argument.SMALL & LOW: You must feel very 'Small' with you're pathetic views on Science & English language & with your insults, You are the lowest of the low.

Grow up & accept something as right when you're proven wrong.

  • @tiddy73 Where is your argument? This is a sloppy insult.

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 His argument is that "high" and "tall" are not the same. And he is absolutely right about that. China has the highest bridge (deck height over ground), but the Millau Viaduct is still the tallest (structural height) in the world.

  • @sgtsnakeeyes11 LOL your mad

  • @SamusMan64 the semantic difference between high and tall is not so difficult to understand. I don't get why you struggle with this. I find pretty amusing that you get angry because somebody has a laugh about it. By the way it does not only work for bridges. Somebody smaller than you will never be taller but can be higher if he gets on a chair.

  • @gchelem im not mad, honestly lol. i dont really care, i was just defending that kid. thanks for explaining the difference!

  • Hate the way he pronounces Millau wrongly. Can't these people research such basic issues ?

  • *hides*

  • noma esyta chidooooo

  • NICE bridge, wnt to go there on VACATION,look clouds beneath the bridge.....

  • British architect who made the external appearance of the viaduct and a French structural engineer who made it real.

  • @Matexde it was built in 4 years !

  • * When you cross that bridge the scenery is insanely Beautiful!!! o_0

  • pronounce me-yo not me-lo

  • They are clouds! The bridgre is 1000 feet high, but where it is built is 3000 feet above sea level. Clouds!

  • @tiddy73 um no, it's around 1,000 feet high

  • sounds kinda like the danny phantom theme song haha

  • Seen it and been over it an incredible structure . While the French are justifiably proud of it let's not forget it was designed by a British architect

  • @HEFFSTER478

Excuse me! but it was designed by a french structural engineer.

  • @civeng80 eRR NO CHECK YOUR FACTS IT WAS DESIGNED BY NORMAN FOSTER A BRITISH ARCHITECT

  • @HEFFSTER478 . WELL BOTH OF U ARE RIGHT- BRIT architect and french structral engineer, impressively the french guy is kinda an independent consultant.

  • @civeng80 Err no Norman Foster is a british architect

  • its great design and construction

  • you mean, so high. the bridge glide over the fog lol

  • no those were clouds..

  • umm ya maybe low clouds :D

  • that reminds me of the bridge on Shadow of the Colossus. Its incredible how brave and intellegent some people are, kinda rediculous
