  • Fuck the BNP. From America.

  • Comment removed

  • @grendel2900 You don't even know what the BNP is, so why did you bother responding?

  • @CaribDevist Because I'm excited about moving, I like calling people swine, and I like confusing people. For example: Do you know how many species of parrots there are? And yet none of them shoot lazes! Think about it.

  • Wrong flag.

  • Lol at the Gordon brown thing :D

  • Let's clear this up, If you are from England you are English if you are from Scotland you are Scottish, If you are from Wales you are Welch but all of these are British

  • "War war war war Scotland isn't entirely sure who it is" Everyone just listen to the song.

  • I have a doubt. So If you move from England to Wales, are you still in the same country or are you in another one? Because to the world the UK is considered a united government so one country? or am i wrong?

  • Comment removed

  • @mralanv The United Kingdom is just that, a Kingdom. It is several countries that make up one nation, or sovereign state. If you go from England to Wales, you are in a different country, but the same nation.

  • 1688. The Dutch didn´t fail ;-)

  • @Datilcito hahaha, lol

  • in 2012 olympics england will not free i guess

  • Great tune. I wish they wouldn't conflate 'England' and 'Britain' though. It's bad enough that Americans see the union flag and go "English flag lol"

  • @NeglectedField Until the post war period England was also used to mean Britain in Scotland, Wales and Ireland. In fact proud scots would refer to themselves as Englishmen, when what they meant really was Briton. That is just how it was prior to this plague of nationalism.

  • @TLSUk Sorry, but that's complete rubbish. No Scotsman has ever, ever referred to himself as English. Ever. This doesn't imply any animosity towards the English - but it would be as strange as describing ourselves as Irish or Norwegian...

  • @TLSUk Moreover, it has nothing at all to do with Nationalism. Nationalists want Scotland to leave the United Kingdom. Unionists want Scotland to remain a part of the United Kingdom. None of this has anything to do with Scotland being a part of England, which it has never been (with the exception of a very brief spell under Cromwell). I really don't understand your logic at all.

  • @JoanBeatrington001 We joined the war because of Hitler's invasion of Poland. We "butchered" our european cousins because they were led by a mad dictator! It is true that what was once revered as being English is dying out, however as long as there remains a few on this island who're willing to keep their upper lips stiff, then there'll always be an England

  • i first heard this song in Dad's Army

  • MyMy....arn't there a lot of racists out there

  • @buggeritification So naive. If it was the invasion of Poland, why did we not declare war on Russia?

  • @Islamisbad1 That was for MrDeathlinger, quoted the wrong one.

  • Funny how you show Mel Gibson, the most Anglophobic person in Hollywood.

  • Pretty place, England. Pity it's full of mad people.

  • @GaladedridDamodred Our madness is not only a handicap - sometimes - it is also part of our charm & a secret strength known only to those mad enough to be one of us.

  • @freeman8128 Berserkergang, you mean? Well, I'm all for that, I guess.

  • Always be an England? Do you really believe this? The British fought to defeat the German invaders and butchered their own European cousins due to Jewish interests, yet when it comes to Multiculturalism, a true destruction and a irreversible demographic cultural shift that will reduce the British to a minority, Nobody seems to care because they have been programmed and guilted by mainstream sickening media propaganda into thinking Racism is worse then defending your own people. A slow death...

  • @JoanBeatrington001 The reason for the British joining World War 2 was not the Jews, it was the invasion of Poland, get your facts right.

  • @MrDeathlinger You have NO facts if you think Britain joined WW2 because of the Polish invasion.

  • Nope. Sorry, there's only Pakis now. Raping english women.

  • I hope there will always be England but first we have have to get rid of the LibLabCon treason lobby in government. Ask a WW2 veteran why they fort and the will tell you "So we don't need to speak German". Go to London and you wont hear much German but you wont hear much English either.

  • @MrMonkeybat I ask my granddad that when he was alive. He told me they did it for the freedom of all men and to stop the Nazis.

  • @wispa2 My great grandfathers died defending Germany and Spain from misguided allies and evil Bolsheviks. You should of fought with us. Your victory meant your nations end. I'm sorry it had to be this way. Maybe next time we will work together and our honor our ancestors.

  • This song got me through troubled times on active service

  • Watching this makes me feel i born in the wrong generation.....i would have loved to have been in the hay-day of the british empire....we the people are the chains That we will not break.Rule Britannia

  • @savethebrits91 Tell me about it. Britains gone down the plug hole.

  • Ohioan of English descent here, God bless England. Though the way things are going it looks grim for both our nations.

  • I wish I could believe in this video.

  • @poorsod3 - your nick should be: poorsad, because you are very poor and sad if you are not proud of great history of your Empire, of Empire which taught Civilization a lot of nations. I'm not living in fantasy. Great Britain will be great again and men as you are will go to Australia for exile again. If someone is not proud of being Briton it mean that he/she is psychically demented.

And please, use essential arguments, not threats. I'm not scared, especially not such big assholes as you.

  • Wonderful England land of fish and chips, cups o' tea, rain, biggles, and the beautiful submarine spitfires.. long live England

  • @RingBearer1992 Very Good Point! AND THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!!

  • Wish we could still depend on the empire... Bloody decolonisation movement, done the world more harm than good.

  • Great song, and great pictures! Especially that with Gordon Brown, UE flag, French etc. Empire has never died!

  • 1.31 lol

  • Its kind of like a parody of itself

  • Don't let the rain come down on our Empire...

it's to much to wash Away.

  • Brilliant!

  • God Bless England and Her railways! ;)

  • I am from the Netherlands and I love the United Kingdom , my father is a historian , and knows alot of the UK too of course, I love your language and culture.

Best wishes from the Dutch people.

  • I'm an American, and I have to say that this song is pretty cool. I like how the pictures in the video demonstrate a desire to retain cultural and national identity. NO EU! haha! I totally agree!

  • Love the no EU sign at 1:02!

    Freedom from Brussels!

  • This should be the English National Anthem

  • And a BRITISH flag

  • To cryyyyyyyy...

    :0

  • England's not pinin'! 'It's passed on! This Country is no more! It has ceased to be! Expired and gone to meet its maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, It

rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the North Sea id be pushing up the daisies! Its metabolic processes are now history! It's off the twig! It has kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-COUNTRY! .

    .

    It is a crying Shame

  • 1:57 My hometown of Bedford makes that stuff ; )

Long live the United Kingdom of Great Britain, to HELL with the accursed EU

(who are to blame for why we lost the Brickworks at Stewartby ) :

  • Maybe it's because William Wallace was hanged, drawn and quartered with his severed HEAD ending up on the sharp end of an Ensglish spike and displayed for all to see for his treachery...

  • Comment removed

  • @peteylongdon1 If only they had ripped apart Mel Gibson in his god awful feature. Sorry excuse for both a man and an actor with it.

  • Even when idiot scum think they can take this country down......

  • thumbs up if you know this song from the sex pistols

  • Make one so damn proud to be British...

    LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!!

  • British forever! No matter what the political situation, I will always be British, even if the union breaks apart (God forbid), I'll still be British. When I die, I'll die British, through and through, God will greet me in heaven as He is my fellow Brit.

  • Why did we allow America to take our power? No offense to them but I think we should reclaim our lost lands! David Cameron is not a real Englishman because he wants to see our blessed England fall! What would St. George and St. Alban say?!

From a Christian view point, no matter how many times we are attacked, God shall save England. God is an Englishman!! That's one thing America can't take from us!!

  • @hunfitz uh....sorry.? Im an American and I love England-and teh whole UK of course :) But dnt blame evryone here, theres some great admirers here too.

  • @hunfitz God is most certainly not an Englishman. I am an Englishman and so not want to be labelled as holding countryman status with that particular tyrant.

God will not save this country its inhabitants will, like they have done for years. No need to thank pretend sky daddy, thank your parents and their parents and their parents and so on.

  • @omgwtflion here here!

  • @hunfitz Yes, lets go and invade the USA because that's a great Idea it's not like they are the world super power or anything.....

  • great video! Highly amusing glimpses of Engerland....!

  • @anyardsroad It's spelt England.

  • love love loveeeee

  • There'll Always Be an England + William Wallace = EPIC DOUBLE FACEPALM

  • @GekkoKamen

An interesting thing is that, back before WWII, people in Britain actually referred to the whole of Great Britain as England, even the Scots, Welsh and Irish. The Prime Minister of Great Britain, Lloyd George even signed the Treaty of Versailles as the Prime Minister of England. So when this song was recorded, England, means all of Britain, so in a way, the William Wallace is justified.

  • wat a song

  • ) : why am i not english? damn, can you acept me? GOD SAVE ENGLAND

  • English forever

  • Ah, the BNP's de facto anthem. Too bad, it's a pretty song.

  • Wish i was British.

  • @Sth3ll Why?

  • @Sth3ll

    Haha!

    i wish i wasnt british..

im not even gonna start explaining why because there is so much to say

  • @GoogLf2 Leave then

  • @GoogLf2 Britain wishes that you weren't either, we can ship you off to Yemen next week.

  • yawn - anyway, there is a touch of the german opera with her. v interesting. mite say she was future proof

  • Really enjoyed your work! British here in USA. Very amusing and uplifting at the same time! MAR

  • lol i was wondering the same thing--likely because he will be forever linked to the fight for freedom--regardless of nationality.Great song and Vera is masterful .By the way--though it won't get me a dime Wallace is in my mom's famliy tree tho for manymany yrs the family line of mine has been british.\

  • Im pretty sure it dont actually count as an invasion if somebody opens the door and lets you in. When the Netherlands "Invaded" most of the English at the time supported it. There was no beach warfare or other such fighting that the word invasion suggests. The only resistence came from a small number of loyalist ships while the rest of the royal navy was in port at dover and/ or overseas. We had a puppet Dutch King in a time where parliment had rule of law. Much like now with our German queen.

  • I notice you didn't include the contemporary flag of the Netherlands, who *did* successfully invade England.

  • all nationalism is at least faintly comical, but I salute you sir for overcoming the "faintly"

  • This is wonderful! Thanks for video! This singer is amazing!

  • WHO THE FUCK DISLIKED THIS??!!

  • I would be proud and privileged to be British unless I were already Russian.

  • why do you havve a picture of William Wallace?? He's bloody Scottish!! Not English!!!!

  • @Scolar82 technically it's a picture of mel gibson, but he's australian so the point stadns

  • @Scolar82 Wallice is actually fair game on the sideshow, the song is about the union (I.E. England, Scotland, Wales and, the then Ireland) After all the lyrics are "Red, white and blue, what does it mean to you" last I looked the English flag is red and white while the union flag on the other hand is Red, White and Blue.

When the song was first recorded it was commonplace to refer to the union as England and not Britain or the UK.

  • @Scolar82 because of the word freedom

  • @Scolar82 Best visual gag i've seen in ages, that picture is of an Australian actually.

  • @Scolar82 If you're talking about 0:29. techniqually its Mel Gibbson, and he's American ;)

  • @Scolar82 "Freedom" is a famous quote from that film

  • @Scolar82 Get wallace out of there and put in a pic of Lord Nelson and then I'll give the video a like. Unitl then - forget about it!

  • @hughb65 ok fine, i gave you the thumbs up anyway.

  • @Scolar82 Yeah but we did kill him eventually.

  • @Scolar82 it's because of the word freedom;)

  • Liking the picture at 2:35

  • "The empire too, we can depend on you" how times have changed eh? :(

Ohh well, at least will still own parts of Cyprus, a few Islands, Part of Spain (Gibraltar), the Falklands and part of Antarctica?

Well, at least there will always be an England ;)

  • @leagen1000 we dont own any of antarctica, we're just alowed to have a space for research purposes

  • @worthatronproduction we've claimed a portion of antartica, its british antaric territory. but in general no one recognises claims to antartica, the only countries that do are britain, australia and new zealand, who all recognise each others claims. Our claimed areas overlaps with other countries. But it does exist, has its own flag and coat of arms.

  • @fattyboy555 aah right

  • Athens, Sparta, and Rome remain, they're just populated by people other than the ones who founded the civilization, people who are for the most part brown folks and who happen to hate and detest the values upon which those ancient civilizations were founded...

Sure there will always be an England, it will just be populated by vicious brown Islamic/Arabic/Pakistani folks who despise everything Anglo-Saxon civilization stands for. Goodbye Magna Carta, hello Sharia law.

  • @OhioGuy19 All over those civilisations destroyed themselves...

Sparta hardly contributed to Anglo-Saxon civilisation either.

  • Fuck the BNP and EDL. Racist scumbags are racist scumbags.

    Carry on, Britain!

  • Stirring indeed!!!

    E E EDL!!!

  • God bless the UK

    Proud to be British :-)

  • Loooooove this song!!!

  • Is a log time maybe you should sort your sad little life out and move!!

German I will educate you. The second world war; Hitler and his men mass genoside happening ask your Grandad if your not sure. Anyway Britian and Churchill want the world to be free and decide to put an end to Hitler and his war machine. Wars are expensive and Britian had to borrow alot of money. Empires are also expensive to maintain. Thats the short of it.

"Never was so much owed by so many to so few."

  • as a german i wonder, why are the english so stupid and give away all their colonies ;what is leftover of the proud british empire?

  • @Segelfliegerkamerad you need to know that to be born english is to win the lottery of life and by the way we took all your overseas empires from you before we gave them away!!!

  • "The Empire too, we can depend on you"?

    Oops.

  • @GaladedridDamodred

The Commonwealth still counts, doesn't it?

  • @TheTheTheDanny Perhaps, but for how much longer? I can tell you firsthand that the idea of a republic grows more attractive to the Australian people by the day.

  • @GaladedridDamodred

Australia doesn't seem the treasonous type.

  • @TheTheTheDanny How quickly we forget our roots! Australians are perversely proud of their heritage as a prison colony. Many Australians claim descent (truthfully or otherwise) from convicted criminals. This should tell you much.

  • @GaladedridDamodred by "australian people" do you mean your small group of left leaning friends?

  • @smoochym I'm more centre-left than anything, and I couldn't speak for my friends. I mean the people who would have brought in a republic under the right-wing Howard government if the base-born, scum-sucking, black-hearted scunners hadn't put two republican options forward, thereby dividing the voters, as opposed to the single monarchic option. But don't take my word for it, I was just a kid at the time. I'd look it up; it's not wise to take at face value stuff people tell you over the internet.

  • @GaladedridDamodred yes your frothing emotional tirade has really changed my mind.

  • @smoochym Not really frothing. Fuming, perhaps. Why would I want to change your mind? Reserve your right to think for yourself. And like I said, don't take my word for it. I was seven or eight years old at the time, and hindsight is ever-perfect. There's a whole Wikipedia article on the referendum in question if you're interested, but I suppose after my remark about not taking things at face value, referring you to a Wikipedia article is a little hypocritical.

  • While one English man live so dose England

  • @shanepaulcoward VERA LYNN would be well Peeeeeeeeed off & so would the soldiers who died for our country. Our Government sold us OUT AGAIN Theyve kept US all busy and kept the Media silent and not mentioned ridding of our Sovereignty THIS GOVERNMENT are doing everything they Promised not too.

Our Police whos wages we pay are Government bouncers & our Military are Fighting for what ? Our Freedom slowly but Truly being taken by these control freaks . I wish the people would WAKE UP!!

  • Couldnt be prouder of my English heritage and ancestry and identity if I tried

  • we're learning this at school :) also has anyone heard Run Rabbit Run? its a good song!

  • Brilliant stuff, this. I want every English person to wake up each day and say "Hello there, English person. We've done rather well for ourselves. No reason to be ashamed. Yes, we did the empire but we've atoned for that bit. Chin up! We're a rather fine nation." Just be candid with ourselves. We're not a bad country, really.

  • I live in scotland and i love this tune !! would love the flute notes for this !

  • Therell always be an England so long as there is blood in my veins, air in my lungs and hope in my heart. Say no to mass immigration and islamic terrorists, England is for the English!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So proud!!!!

  • @london1st England is for the English? Where on Earth did you get that idea? From the Romans? Or was it the Normans? Perhaps the Saxons? Everyone came from somewhere else.

  • @GaladedridDamodred and in all cases one culture dominated the other in time usually through right of conquest. Multiculturalism is the next step towards a different England where the old culture is gone but through a different means. If that is good or bad is yet to unfold but most of Europe and America are multicultural yet everywhere else has their own culture and traditions which they hold dear. The only thing we all have in common is we all have a starbucks and a mcdonalds :p

  • @fatpie My point was simply that "English" is just an identity, one that anyone living in England who identifies as English might adopt.

  • @GaladedridDamodred nair English is a genetic stock

  • @StokeCasual123 So a person who's grown up in Birmingham, who only speaks English, who's never been outside the country, who is just like every other Englishman on the street in every way except that his parents came from Poland isn't English?

  • @GaladedridDamodred No he'd be English

  • @StokeCasual123 Actually it depends if you talking about heritiage or citizenship. He'd be an english citizen, but his heritiage is Polish. So actually he'd be both.

  • Comment removed

  • @09283760 O.k ;)

  • @StokeCasual123 Kind of my point. To be English is to identify as English; to live in the country, to love it, be proud of it.

  • @GaladedridDamodred His ethnisity would most likely be polish and his citizenship would most likely be english. But what has all the rest to do with it? I'm a norwegian by ethnisity, and hertitiage, I've lived all my life in Norway and my lojalty will always be with Norway - but I speak three languages and travel alot. I will never be english or british, but that's okay, I want to be norwegian and norwegian I am. That doesn't hinder me from listening to brilliant Very Lynn from time to time.

  • @fatpie Im English born and bread and very much keep my culture and heritag alive and that will be passed to my kids as my fathers passed it to me, the more people try to erode our culture and Englishness the more we'll fight to preserve it, the reason groups such as the BNP are on the rise isnt due to immigration, its due to all the WHITE lefty patronising hippys who try to destroy our people. Brainwashing only works on the weak minded, the real English are here and were going nowhere.

  • @london1st Well said my son well said

  • @london1st SPOT ON BROTHER. NO SURRENDER

  • Speaking as an Australian, I have say that there might always be an England, but y'all will still always suck at circket. :D

  • @GaladedridDamodred LOL, we'll see after the Ashes shall we?

  • @GaladedridDamodred Oh god we give up on cricket years ago I think.. think we're about to give up on football as well! Only sport we're good at now is rugby and no one cares about it!

  • @NewAccountFFS Oh, I don't know. I think there's still some Antipodeans raring to kick your arses at rugby too, never fear!

  • @GaladedridDamodred Do you want to repeat that? lol

  • @Arrested101 Och, I'll play any mither's son o' ye scunners! Fetch me cricket bat!

  • to MRwonderman if you were a true englishman you would agree!!!

  • lol good song horrible images to go with it...

  • Well the song is good..

  • @1:31

  • how DARE you show filthy scots at 0:26 ! This is about ENGLAND!

  • @MarcZERO1980 Well, if you want to be exact like that, you'd have to dislike the Union Jack in this video, I guess. Since it doesn't only stand England but also the 'filthy Scots' and all, doesn't it?

  • @kankurouyumi90 Urgh he's a twat ignore him.. he forgets the "filthy Scots" pitched in building the Empire as well. He also forgets that Britain is a strong part of English heritage therefore should be celebrated all the same.

  • I THINK THIS SHOULD BE OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM !!!!!

  • The Dutch invaded England in 1688

  • @calvinhobbesliker2 Yes, at behest of Parliament. Parliament dictated the terms of William III's rule and greatly limited his power. The Dutch assisted us by invading, they did not conquer us.
