  • speaking of davey , davey richards looks just like dynamite kid .

  • now this is wrestling, the fuk sticks of today could learn a lot by watching these matches.

    Bud316

  • Davey Boy wasn't human. He came from a test tube.

  • show this to the idiots in charge of WWE and TNA push guys that can do this. R.I.P DAVEY. TOM your fucking messed up but fuck could he go!!

  • hell yeah, classic Bulldogs. What a nasty looking move at the end!

  • やはりいつ見ても、スミスキッドは、カッコいい強い

  • Damn!! that's what I call "Wrestling"!!!!

  • WOW what an electrifying start to the match

  • While multiple concussions did their damage to both Billington and Benoit, Billington was known as mean-spirited and cruel in the locker room, and outright abusive to his wife . Benoit, on the other hand, was well-liked all around as a caring and humble guy who did Cena-level charity work. Simply put, Benoit's life generated enough karma that there are conspiracy theories about what happened. There wouldn't be if Billington had done the same thing.

  • Dynamite and Benoit actually shared more in common than just similar wrestling ability. They hauntingly had the same temperament. Billington (Dynamite) had a messed up mind also and suffered chronic depression for many years while he wrestled. He actually turned up at the house he shared with his wife with a shotgun, with the desire to kill his whole family. If it wasn't for Bret Hart calming him down and telling him to turn his car around then god knows what might have happened.

  • @Bkgrill81

Actually apart from what what he did to his family, by all accounts Benoit was a reserved and respectful man, not known for having any kind of ill tempermant. Which made the events leading to his death rather shocking.

  • great match

  • As much as i enjoyed Davey's work, he was never anywhere near as good as Tommy. What Davey did to Tom was low, Tom was the original British Bulldog and Davey exploited him and took the name for himself. Alright, Tom was his own worst enemy most of the time and wasted a lot of talent, but Davey sold him down the river, who does that to a guy that carried you into the business, they were supposed to be family!

  • 83-84, this was dynomite teaching davey so they could form a tag team.

  • dynamithe was in GREAT SHAPE so was davy but he was stil learning the ropes from dynamite who helped him alot.

  • Davey Richards is Dynamite Kid's clone

  • Dynamite Kittouh

  • this should have been main event summrslam 92 for the world title

  • its such a shame dynamite kid doesn't still wrestle, hes the same age as finlay and finlay can wrestle really well

  • @WrestlingFanCritic

Sadly Dynamite is wheelchair bound if he had stayed fit and injury free i have no doubt he'd still be wrestling

  • @deaconkris And stayed off the steroids.

  • If this was WCW, Dynamite Kid should have got DQ for throwing an opponent over the top rope.

  • 5:40 tombstone..... wtf didnt the Bulldog win da WWF title.... instead they gave it to Psycho Sid... a two moves untalented big guy.....

  • @thechainzter sid was very talented and athletic just sloppy watch the match between him and hbk from 1995

  • @dstncowles maybe your right, he actually was very athletic specially for his size, but his wrestling skills wernt that good... and when you compare him wit guys like the Bulldog, or Owen Hart or Vader, it just doesnt make much sense at least to me that they went for Sid as a champ instead of those i just mentioned......

  • @thechainzter i know but they put they didnt put them as champion cause they didnt have the merchandise factor vince looks for sid did it saddens me to say that but you know how vince works

  • @dstncowles yep, too bad, same thing hapens with Cena now days, as much as i respect the guy i dont think his that entertaining, but he makes big bucks, so he gets the belt.... i gues there will allways be in every generation of superstars, some guys that r overlooked for some reason.... now days we have Matt Hardy and Christian......

  • @dstncowles was it not SS 96 when Sid beat HBK then HBK beat Sid in RR 97 to win the belt back.

I do remember HBK and Sid having a pointless match the day after SummerSlam 95 on Raw.

  • These guys are so exciting to watch. Dynamite looks super huge! I wonder if his back is messed up around this time.

  • @toemasie not here but he does mess it up during this match. When he goes on to face Cobra he winces in pain...a lot.

  • Two of Wigan's greatest sons and pioneers in wrestling the style of wrestling we love today. Forget the tragedies, the Bulldogs will live forever!

  • great match

  • What?????........

  • dynamite kid need to be in the wwf/e hall of fame someday !!!

  • This is Probably in 89. After the Bulldogs, but before Davey Boy's Singles Run. I'd guess 89-90

  • @tane8484 This was from February of 1984.

  • Chris Benoit's wrestling style is much similar to that of the Dynamite kid's

  • Dynamite kid was the one that taught Chris Benoit thats why.

  • @sagnik489 i don't recall Dynamite Kid using his wrestling style to kill his son

  • Dynamite Kid was always his ring name. All the way back to his Stampede days.( late 70's) It's probably one of the best nick names ever. Why would you wanna mess with that? Great match btw. Thanks for posting.

  • Wow! Never knew these 2 had a match!!

Its kind of surreal watching it :O

  • wow dynamite kid awsome

  • Dynamite (Tom Billington) is Daveys cuz

  • This was a great match! Davey Boy and Dynamite great opponents as well as teammates. These guys had to have been outstanding physical condition to work at this pace. It's just sad how their lives turned out in spite of all their talent!

  • what year was this?

  • This was February 1984. By the way Dynamite won the tournament to become the Junior Heavyweight Champ.

  • So this match is b4 the WWF made them tag-team partners, The British Buldogs!

  • They were partners before they joined the WWF once and for all in 1985 (being that this match was in fact for a WWF belt). They actually formed the team near the end of '84 when they both doubled crossed New Japan and went to ALL Japan.

  • This is coming from one of Dynamite's biggest fans.

  • The thing you have to love about the Japanese is that their wrestling is all about what you do in the ring. They don't care about story lines or crazy angles. If you can't wrestle, then you will not fly over there.

  • danm right!

  • These are to phenomenal workers. God bless Stu Hart for training these guys.

  • They were both already amazing workers before ever even arriving in canada.. So I guess its more like...

God bless stu hart for molding these guys in wrestling legends.

  • dynamite one of the greats,Hart 'swrestling made so many greats.

  • Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith are cousins. Dynamite got smith into the biz.

  • Yeah you can see a family resemblence, they look more like brothers

  • Great explosive match by 2 wrestlers that knew each other very well. RIP Davey Boy Smith

  • fuck you

  • do you ever do sensible comments?

  • UH yeah, "davey boy is a bitch" is one of them. The guy f*cked over his cousin (DYNAMITE in case your to stupid to know who I'm talking about) by takin away the BULLDOG name from him, and DYNAMITE being the original bulldog. No piss off.

  • You probably don't even know the half of it anyway. You obviously should realise that being a "British Bulldog" is a national trait for being tough. Dynamite was not the original Bulldog. Its a commonly used phrase. I love Dynamite but its his own fault for being such a bully backstage that he had to leave wwf for the confrontation with Rougeau. Dynamite has pretty much alienated himself from everyone he knew including the Hart Family. Alot worse things have happened, he should get over it.

  • For your information, I know for a fact it was DYNAMITE who got Davey boy into wrestling so HIS COUSIN shoulda had something we call loyalty. and the term british bulldog isn't a national trait, thats just stupid. DYNAMITE was THE FIRST BULLDOG, get over it.

  • lol so you think Dynamite created the term British Bulldog. Actually its something used to describe toughness and bravery, you know how British Bulldog's are bred. Plus Dynamite Threw out exactly what he gave back. You need to get over it.

  • omg you are so fn stupid. In the term BRITISH BULLDOG used for PRO WRESTLING, DYNAMITE WAS THE FIRST!!! and his wank of a cousin ripped him off and fucked him over so you my dumb witted pest, need to state facts, not opinion. And you need to get off my net dick with your lame pointless insight on something you know NOTHING about. NOW FUCK OFF

  • lol your wrong, British Bulldog is a breed of dog and has pretty much been used to describe a tough British person since WW1. Now get those knickers out your arse that are giving u a wedgie. Dynamite ended up as a bitter soul because he got what he deserved from alienating himself from everyone who once considered him a friend. By the way Dynamite wasn't called the British Bulldog, he was part of the British Bulldog's. So he wasn't the original british Bulldog.

  • whatever you say.....SMMMMMMMARRRRRRT MARRRRRRRRRRRRRK

  • proud smark thankyou, but you are just as smark as me.

  • um no, ya see, unlike you, i'm on the inside of the guard rail.

  • lol so pretentious...

  • see, that just shows that you dont know SHIT

  • nope you went off the real subject a few posts ago when you realised that Dynamite wasn't the original Bulldog and he wasn't nicknamed the Bulldog till he joined Davey Boy. Just because your a wrestler yourself don't mean your not a smark. Stop dragging this on, you got proved wrong, you started saying things like "Dynamite got Davey into wrestling" when I had never disagreed with you.

  • OMG do you ever shut up? Dynamite WAS the original bulldog. He got davey into wrestling and all of his tours to the states and japan, but yet davey screwed him over by lying about him being in a wreck then preventing him from using the term BULLDOG for himself. Dynamite may have been a prick, but he was a prick to your face. Davey did shit behind your back. SO quit making up shit to try and make yourself look right. An yeah being a wrestler means im not a SMART MARK son. NOW FUCK OFF

  • He wasn't the original Bulldog and Dynamite got what he deserved smart mark. Alienating himself from the Hart Family. Davey wasn't a "bitch" end of.

  • for a smart mark your pretty damn stupid.

  • Davey was actually a nice enough fella, Diana was/is a prick, though, and was pulling his strings. I suppose Davey was too nice and naive for his own good at times, allowing himself to be influenced by those around him without resistance. It was Diana's idea to trademark the British Bulldog name, no doubt she saw her meal ticket in tapping into the British market of the ever expanding WWF.

  • yeah thats probably how it went down. diana is a cunt.

  • these guys eventually ended up hating each other after davey returned to the wwf and stealing the bulldog name without telling dynamite.Dynamite never spoke to him again after `1990

  • no he didnt, dynamite was upset that he went to wwf without telling him and used the british bulldog as a name, but they still stayed close

  • That's what I typed...and no they didn't stay close...they never spoke to each other again.Infact Dynamites family wanted nothing to do with Davey's family.Infact when davey was wrestling in England, Dynamite showed up at the arena and wanted to kick the crap out of Davey.Davey was able to continue to use the Bulldog name because he had bought the rights to the name which prevents anyone else from using it.

  • It's in his biography shit for brains.get YOUR facts straight...fuckhead...don't bother replying back because I can guarantee i won't be.

  • WOW Davey Boy was pretty good before his wwf days and now I see why Dynamite is considered by some pound for pound the greatest ever! Benoit vs Dynamite would have been one hell of a match.

  • davey was still great in wwf he just had the tendacy to become blown up from his drug useage his last great match was with owen on raw for the european belt in germany

  • davey boy was always one of the best wrestlers ever

  • Is the Dynamite Kid in the WWE hall of fame? He fucking should be, he was the man.

  • no...if he ever make it he would probably go in as part of the Bulldogs since wasn't a single's wrestler in WWF/E

  • @MartinKinteX

Dynamite was a cunt. I'm glad he's paying for it now.

  • @MartinKinteX no he is not he and davey should be

  • @MartinKinteX He wont. He blames wrestling for his condition now. He is very bitter

  • I thought this was the round robin matchup they had with the Cobra for the WWF jr heavyweight title. But it's a different match.

  • wow!!! Dynamite Kid was one of the most amazing wrestlers Ive ever seen!

  • They had a "bitter" rivalry in Japan back in 1983, a year before the British Bulldogs formed.

Dynamie Kid's hairdo is way ahead of its time!

  • Whoa, The Bulldogs Explode! Awesome, never knew about this match?

  • They actually wrestled each other I'd say hundreds of times in Stampede wrestling.

  • Yeah, I knew that, this was around The British Bulldog WWF Days though, that's what I was talking about.

  • I knew that already, I was talking about this being around The British Bulldogs Tag Team Days, probably just before.

  • Yes, actually I have one on tape well before the steroids. What's funny is that Davey boy was the skinnier of the 2, looked like a skinny adolescent!

  • GREAT MATCH - UP! Havent seen this one before - WELL DONE!!!
