these kind of things are mutual policies. I am an Iranian student and because of single-entry visa which I got I cannot leave the US unless I apply for visa again, and as you probably know it has a unsafe long-term process so I prefer not to leave the US and I cannot visit my parents, friends, country for the next 5-6 years!!!!!!

exact same thing happen to me when first time I want it to go in US, I applied to months in advance and I got my Visa in same day of my flight.

Usually, it's best to apply for a visa ahead of time before your departure date. One or two months advance is the best solution. It works for me. :)

Ofcourse she is iranian& she lives in Iran. When talking about getting visas, she means they-as iranians- need entry visas to USA...NOT TO IRAN!!!!!!
