Oh the lost art of real music how i miss you so much. im 15 and having to live with these screamo loving friends. i wish i was growing up in the early 90's instead. Born in the wrong time :'(
@ericmeloman85 if you look directly at it, you will see the "R" at the beginning of the name, i will have to post a short vid of mine on here someime.
You guys wanna hear something funny. Look up Nine Inch Nails "1,000,000". Well, I think it's funny, I'm not really trying to say anything about either band, I love both of them to death and I actually have both albums! I'm just saying it's a wild coincidence!
I love both bands but I Nirvana never played anything in 5. But because Eddie doesn't play guitar while singing it would be easier to sing something in 5. I'm confused as to why people are talking about Nirvana while listening to Last Exit. They both kick ass.
@JMSPatternInterrupt Eddie doesn't sing and play guitar?? Vs (1993) was the tour and album he began performing that way. He has been playing guitar for much longer than that.
I'm going to ignore the previous posts and just say that Last Exit KICKS ASS! I used to listen to Vitalogy over and over at work on the walkman, cd walkman, and finally, mp3 player.
screw you kwsoa just dont listen to pj if you cant appreciate their songs and i like the intro personally.i have been a devoted fan since 1991 and they inspired me to start playing the drums and guitar. no matter how bad you think they are their true fans think they are awesome and thats a rap!!

wow...I kinda lost interest in mookie blaylock after the five against one record. as you can see by my oblique references i am in the know of the eddie vedder band, but i'm sorry nirvana, soundgarden, even kindergaden aka alice in chains kick more ass than pearl jam. at least laine and curt had the sensibilities to kill themselves before their legacys became akin to a fat bloated incoherent liberal like vedder. u guys know his dad was a retard, right? the acorn don't fall far from the oak.
First you cannot fucking spell to save your fucking life. Next Layne not Laine, did not kill himself purposely. He had a disease-Heroin. Kurt is spelt with a K it's next to the letter j and not b. Vedder's dad was not a retard. He has MS. People who suffer from this shitty disease go through immense pain. Lastly Mookie Blaylock gave up the name at the end of 1990 not 1993 as you suggested. Go listen to some Coldplay now that;s a good boy. Get your facts right boy!!!!
well happy thanksgiving to you, fuckface! the mispellings were done on purpose, as well as the general post, to raise the ire and inflame the tempers of you pearl jam fans. eddie vedder is a fat liberal drunk whose father was Rainman, a virtual retard.FACT. i saw pearl jam in concert 18 years ago when they were still good. but soundgarden blew them off the stage. you don't need to give me a history lesson on pearl jam, fool. the only thing you proved, is that you are a blithering idiot
And please don't call somebody a retard for having a disabilty. So what if he is liberal. And RAINMAN was autistic. Again get your facts right. By the way what music do you listen to?
thanks for falling into my trap, now shit head, what do you know about the psychotropic effects of Aunt Pearl's special jam? Pearl Jam sucks, vedder is fat and incoherent. I bet you own a pair of pearl jam socks? they sell 'em. those fools sold out and licensed everything. can't blame 'em, with simple minded sheep like yourselves in the market place eating up all the putrid shit they serve, and think you are eating filet mignon. ha, you losers make me laugh.
I have been a PJ fan since day 1. They haven't sold out. All they have done is appear on a few more shows and done some videos. Wow is that selling out. I'm not so sure. What about Ten. Was that a sell out record? No. But if they had released that in 2009 then people like you would be claiming that they had sold out. Listen there's a lot of shit music out there. There's virtually nothing. Be thankful that a Seattle band from 90's is still going.
this song sucks. pearl jam had 2 good albums, their creativity hence is nil. i mean do we really need to listen to 30 seconds of feedback and tuning in the intro of this song? did it add anything? and then here vedder screach out bof time vwhile the band plays outta tune? there is a reason hendrix, morrison cobain et al kicked the bucket at 27. they had nothing left to say or play. pearl jam has been running on empty for years. finished giving eddy veder a rusty trombone yet? pearl jam sucks
Your so called knowledge is making me piss my pants with laughter- so thank you for brightening up my day. Hendrix was murdered. Morrison and Cobain were drug users they died tragically. I'm sure Morrison would have given us more than the utter trife we were fed disco 70's. Cobain killed himself after releasing Nirvana's greatest work In Utero. He had a heroin problem. Now look at the music we have its all crap, apart from PJ of course. Go listen to No Code because its the best record they done.
Oh my god your listening to MJ songs on your profile. What did u get a conscience after he died or have you always loved Michael. lol. Go away now and stop shaming yourself for fucksake.

umm...okay michael jackson is a legend. 1000 years from now, people will be listening to him. no i did not just start liking him since his death, i've always recognized his genius. i saw pearl jam at lolapalooza 92, and quite honestly, they sucked. mother love bone was great, no eddie, and listen to temple of the dog, chris cornell owns eddie. your little band that you worship, is the 5th or 6th grunge band of the '90;s. hell, sir mixalot captures the seattle sound better than pearl joke
Your opinion. I feel sorry for you that you could not have been ejected out of Lollapalloza 92 so that someone with some musical sense could have taken your place. As far a MJ is concerned he was a spent force after the Bad album. But who cares these bands have nothing in common with his music. By the way I do not worship anything. Pj are a great band. That's it final.
Hold on! What makes you think people 1000 years from now will still be listening to Michael Jackson? You can't guarantee that. I guarantee that. For all we know, he could be forgotten within the next 50 years and we'll still be listening to Pearl Jam. Who knows? You sure don't.
haha well dude..i didnt like michael neither pearl jam..i still dont like michael..and 90% that like him like him after his death..i remember how he was in the news..they were swearing at him..they were calling him a freak..and now they like him eh?..haha fucking posers..well that is not the topic here..if you think pearl jam sucks (as i did before)..please listen "black" by pearl jam..that gotta touch you..that song is awesome..
@worthlessdollar1 I first heard Black when I was about 13. I liked it then just because PJ was my favorite band. I didn't truly understand the song until I was about 24...then I loved it.
You must be a sick individual to keep repeatadly calling someone a retard for a disability. If Eddie gave me a pearl necklace I would sell it. Thanks for calling me bitch I like that shit.
Vitalogy was the album that hooked me, so it's my second favorite. I would say it's my favorite, but I like just as many songs on Ten. And when I sit back and look at the number of songs that were cut from Ten (I think they had 25 or 26 known songs total recorded), they could have had enough material for a double album. And the best part is over half of them are songs just as good as Black and Evenflow, definitely hit material. I mean, come on. Yellow Ledbetter, Alone, Brother, Breath, etc?
i concur, vitalogy was most definitely the shit. i think it was their best album in terms of mixing traditional rock with their growing interest in experimental music.
